This was a great hotel - a beautiful courtyard in the center and traditional style rooms throughout. The rooms were quite large, as were the mattresses (that I'd guess we're handmade and very comfortable). There was a bar onsight and an amazing restaurant as well, I'd recommend eating there. The breakfast area had one of the eBay views in Cusco....

We stayed at the Arqueologo multiple times during our trip to cusco and enjoyed the high levels of comfort and hospitality. The hotel is very close to the plaza de armas - just a short walk down the hill - and close to some great restaurants and cafes. The hotel offers laundry services and can organise tours for you. The...

Well located, being close to the plaza. Great food and bar facilities, friendly english speaking staff who were very helpful and a quiet room, although the bed was a little hard for my liking. Loved the central court yard. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

The rooms were mostly in the balcony upstairs. Each room had a small sitting room, balcony and bathroom on this floor, and an upper floor with a large bedroom. The main "room" of the hotel is a lovely courtyard with couches and tables around. There is also a lounge with a fireplace, which is very nice at night. Breakfast is...

Hotel Arqueologo has an amazing atmosphere! The minute you walk in, the staff is welcoming and you get the cusco/mountain/country side feeling! The bartender is very friendly and knowledgeable about Pisco and different drinks. If you ever get any kind of sickness (altitude/stomach) the hotel works with different clinics and a doctor will be sent to check on you. It's...

The staff was very kind and flexible. They allowed us to check in at 4am after arriving with the bus in the morning even though standard check in time would probably be around 2pm. Also the breakfast was delicious!
