Rooms: Rooms were fine, beds nothing spectacular, seemed clean. Showers were really cold. Breakfast: Breakfast consisted of white bread with jam and the possibillity to get a small plate of scrambled eggs. Not the best. Location: Fantastic location a minutes walk from Placa de Arma, walking distance to almost all sights. WiFi was pretty poor in the rooms.

The positives of this place are the friendly and helpful staff, and the location is very good. Stone throw away from Plaza de Armas. Beds were pretty average, nothing spectacular. Downside were the showers, wasn't the coldest shower I had in Peru, but it sure was a chilly wake up / pre-bar heist. Stayed here again for a second night... More

In terms of location and friendliness of staff this place is great. It is a 2 min walk to Plaza Armas. Staff are friendly, beds are comfortable and there is a good breakfast included. Wifi is ok throughout the hotel but patchy sometimes. In terms of negatives, the hostel needs to spend some money to upgrade showers etc. for a... More

Friends stayed here in 2002 so we thought it would be fun to stay here as well. Huge disappointment. Dark musty room, creaking uneven floor. Door was locked with a padlock as original locks were broken. Breakfast was okay but not great. They advertise you can pay with Visa but when we went to pay it was 5% more to... More

Great location, one block off the main plaza. Very nice quaint comfortable and inviting room. Great bed and strong internet. Lots of hot water, bath is a bit small. Staff is very helpful and gave good price discount. Breakfast was super, even with some Calamari olives being served. We looked at some other "budget" properties around the plaza...this one is... The stay at this lodge includes breakfast. Its good, they always have warm tea de coca handy. They have wireless internet. Connection is not that great in all the rooms. The location of the hotel is very central and they provide safe lockers for luggage.

The staff were accommodating & friendly and most tolerant of our lack of the Spanish language. We found the rooms to be large, clean with hot water, flushing toilets and fresh towels every day. Yes the rooms were a little dark and cold but so are most rooms at this price and type of accommodation. We were snug in bed... More

We arrived to Cusco from Lima 2 days before our adventure to Machu Picchu. Right when we landed and gathered our belongings, we walked out towards the exit. We were awfully tired due to lack of sleep so we opted to check out the travel agencies that were trying to fill up their hostels. After talking to several different agents,... More

Freezing shower! Holy cow I have never been so cold. Waking up to a blaring tv for breakfast was annoying. Our room was right by the. Breakfast area which was the worst. They were nice and accommodating but I was cold my entire stay. Three nights with three loud mornings. Not very restful. Semi-cheap
