Our first room was not very big and had a musty smell. We asked for an upgrade and the room the gave us was great! No extra charge!!!!! The breakfast buffet was average and we did not care for the dinner menu in the restaurant.

This beautiful historical hotel has a great location in the middle of Cusco, a few steps away from the Plaza de Armas, Mercado San Pedro and a number of very good restaurants. The rooms are large enough and comfortable, bathrooms are well equipped and the central courtyard is quite charming. However, two points are to be noted. There was often...

This is a good hotel, and we really enjoyed our stay here. The big negative, though, was at the check-in. When we arrived (thanks to a very nice hotel driver who picked us up at the airport), we were seated in the lobby and - before we knew it - there was a travel agent right there, checking our itinerary,...

In an old traditional colonial Spanish hacienda just a block or two off the Plaza des Armes, the Costa del Sol falls short of my expectations of a Ramada. The staff were difficult to deal with to the point of being rude at times; service in the restaurant was abysmal - we waited over 40 minutes for a cooked breakfast...

The hotel was very central and they had a complementary hotel taxi. The Ramada was very well run excellent service and they organise trips for you if you wish. The breakfast was very good nice choice of foods and fruits. Was a big room clean comfortable bed with great view really amazing. We will return here again after Macchu Picccu...

The hotel was beautiful and in a great location. The staff were all super helpful and nice. The only thing I didn't like about it was that they charged $20 per child. We were traveling with our young twin boys, and we didn't expect this charge. No other hotel in the 5 hotels we stayed in during our trip to...

We stayed here twice during our stay in Cusco - a few days before, and one night after our Inca Trail trek. This was one of the more expensive hotels we stayed in, but we had chosen it as we could leave our bags in their secure area whilst we were on the trek. The rooms were ok - we...

Spent a total of four night here in Sept 2016. Used the hotel as a base for an Amazon trip, and a Machu Pichu trip. The hotel has an older court yard type structure in the front and a more modern attachment in the back. I stayed in three different rooms over my four night there. I found the rooms...

We stayed at this hotel twice in the span of a week: right before and right after our Inca trail to Machu Picchu. The room we were given before the trip to Machu Picchu (they call it "modern room") was ridiculously small to the point where our open suitcases wouldn't fit in the room. Considering that at your arrival in...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The hotel Costa del Sol Ramada is located in a colonial-era mansion that is considered part of the cultural heritage of the city of Cusco. The building dates back to the 17th century, when the Marquis de Picoaga arrived in the city and built himself a new home, employing stonework and murals. The hotel is divided between a colonial wing and a contemporary wing, combining stone archways, a beautiful patio, a fountain and original murals dating from the architecture of the 17th century with all the comforts of a modern, contemporary hotel. The rooms have been designed for the comfort of the guests and are spacious, peaceful and fully equipped. They have Wi-Fi internet connections, cable television, direct dial telephones, safe deposit boxes and a mini-bar. The hotel conserves all the beauty of an old colonial mansion and provides the welcoming service that will make you feel special during every day of your stay with us. ... more   less
