Belmond staff really create the ambience of their hotels. They try so hard to address you by your name and make you feel welcome. They really are the best of the best. Pedro the concierge helped us as we suffered from altitude sickness even after nearly two weeks in Peru. The hotel were so prompt delivering oxygen whenever we felt the need....

This hotel was first class from the minute we pulled up. Jose not only took care of our luggage but took the time to introduce us to the hotel, its history and truly made us comfortable. We felt fortunate to work with Jefferson on their concierge staff, who was amazing. He assisted with our every request, including setting up our...

A very a unique, gorgeous property with exceptional 5 star service. We visited in March and due to the low season, we were upgraded to a jr suite at check in. Very much appreciated! The room itself was tastefully decorated and unlike many older establishments, it didn't seem worn out. The staff is extremely helpful and willing to help with...

Such a beautiful hotel in walking distance to the center of Cusco. We had a Large room with three beds, cathedral ceilings, a huge bathroom, and right outside our door, a small courtyard. We had dinner in the onsite restaurant, and the food was delicious. The night we were there, there was an opera singer who sang during dinner. When...

Everything was wonderful.. food.service... just be certain you don't get a room with the bathroom downstairs and bed in a loft... at that altitude it kills ya. F The food looked great but we had no appetite and were sick for two days from altitude.

I booked this hotel because me and my husband are into art history and the place looked gorgeous. Indeed it is - the chapel is atunning and there are beautiful items all around the grounds. As youngish New Yorkers I'd have to say the place is a little fussy. You are never left alone by staff and there is no...

The rooms were first class, the service was excellent, and the beds were comfortable. We had a nice little patio to relax, the staff was super helpful when I was sick, and the food that I did eat was top notch.

This is really a great hotel. Trust all the review that say nothing but great things. It's a beautiful building from the 1700's I think. Stone everywhere, old artwork. We were there celebrating a special occasion and they sent up a cake and wrote us a nice message. Would definitely stay here again if I'm back in cusco.

The service in this hotel is excellent. I travelled with a friend who got altitude sickness. The hotel was able to administer oxygen at 6 a.m. in the morning ... we called Room Service numerous times. They had to make the trip numerous times (with tea, breakfast, lunch ... more tea, oxygen tank) all within a very short space of...

After 2 nights in Sacred Valley & 1 night in Machu Picchu pueblo coming to the Belmond Monesterio was a real treat. Bathrooms & linens top notch of course & big buffet breakfast sets you right for a day of walking tours & sightseeing. Don't miss 100+ year old cedar tree in courtyard. Very nice staff too.
