I spent 4D/3N with my Canadian boyfriend in this gorgeous property which has everything a traveler to Peru would want: stunning colonial architecture, delicious cuisine and the most caring staff! The concierge Roger assisted us even before our official check in, storing our luggage and booking a taxi to Poroy station for us to catch the Hiram Bingham train to MP. Upon arrival the next day to El Monasterio, we were upgraded to a suite facing the beautiful courtyard. I want to thank Joseph who went out of his way to assist us booking a doctor and massage, as I had fallen off my horse in Urubamba and was in acute pain during my first few days there. The massage by Janette was amazing, Ana Maria answered all our questions about a destination wedding, and I had a great chat with lovely Cintia one evening as she was serving us drinks in the courtyard. Everything is so well thought out in this hotel, from the aguaymanto truffles left on our beside by turndown service to the blankets available in the patio during chilly evenings. Thank you Belmond team, we felt so welcome and cared for, it was a stay beyond our expectations and we will definitely be back for our special day!…

Spent 4 days here. Everything was first rate. The staff was excellent Miguel at front desk who arranged for late chekout,walking tour directions, changed dollars,were among the many things to help our stay more comfortable. Shoutout to Julio,Irving and Wilberth for keeping us well fed at all the meals. Beautiful gardens and great location. Use sister hotel next door for sauna and pool

This is an amazing hotel and a great staff that works to ensure you are having the time of your life. The rooms were beautiful and quiet. The grounds were extremely well maintained and bar and wait staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. It was a trip of a lifetime.

This is a spectacular hotel in a great location. The staff are smart and helpful. Loved the church within the hotel - really beautiful. The breakfast buffet was incredible - the best guacamole in the world.

The staff at this hotel were super fantastic! The ambience of this hotel is truly unique and amazing! The staff goes above and beyond to give you the best experience ever. The variety of food you are able to try at the breakfast buffet is truly unique Shopping is close by and we had no safety concerns about walking to the shopping area. Unforgettable memories, truly recommend staying at this hotel.

A wonderful hotel , great location , excellent staff who are friendly , efficient , always ready to assist so as to make one stay memorable . An old monastery beautifully converted to hotel with all modern comforts without loosing the old character , with lovely courtyards bright rooms. Staff is a great example of real customer service and Peruvian hospitality !

We spent 4 nights at the Monasterio and it was PERFECT ! The historic property provides a spectacular setting. The art is incredible. The location is excellent. And to top it off... the staff are unparalleled at making you feel like the most important guests on the property!

Being able to stay at the Belmond Monasterio was a delightful and enjoyable experience. The ambiance was spectacular, and the entire staff was very polite, courteous and attentive. I would highly recommend the Belmond Monasterio Hotel when in the Cusco area. It is a must see destination unto itself.
