We just stayed at the Monastery Hotel in the center of the historic/Inka part of Cusco and we were totally amazed by the beauty of this hotel. everything is breathtaking - from the entrance including the bar, to their own private chapel to the courtyard and the rooms. definitely one of my top 5 city hotels in the world. we...

This wonderful hotel, once a monastery as the name implies, is situated on a small, quiet square in Cusco. It is a short walk to the main square, but it is miles away in spirit. And speaking of spirit, the monks' chanting serves as the backdrop to the beautiful monastery where the courtyard is the setting for meals. The staff...

Pros: Excellent location, steps away from the Plaza de Armas and meters from the Museum of Precolumbian Art (which opens until 10pm and has an excellent restaurant) and the Inka museum. Historical building. It was previously a monastery and you will likely remember this location. The church is beautifully restored and has some superior paintings. The rooms and bathrooms are...

A stay at this elegant hotel is more of an experience than simply a hotel stay. Perfectly located in the middle of Cusco just off the main square, the former monastery has a grace and charm about it from the moment you walk in. Towering ceilings, a magnificent courtyard garden with a fountain, and a stately bar all create a...

We started our trip to Peru staying here and I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful experience. The stunning atmosphere of the property has such a unique feel to it. Every morning we'd wake up and enjoy a plentiful complimentary breakfast in the gorgeous courtyard of the old monastery - such a great start to each day! The hotel...

Rooms were quite spacious. I had never stayed at a Belmond hotel until this trip... we also stayed at the Sanctuary Lodge and Miraflores... but will definitely stay...

We didn't actually stay here but I wish we had. It's very peaceful and elegant. Still wonderful to explore this hotel and the grounds. They pump oxygen into the hotel.
