We stayed 2 nights at this hotel to visit Cusco and on our way to and back from Machu Picchu. The hotel has a very nice atmosphere with a Spanish style courtyard. The rooms are relatively simple and not so spacey, but quite ok. Excellent location in the centre of Cusco.

Great staff, great location, one of the best staff that I've seen ever! Highly recommend you. The only one negative is the narrow street just to the hotel. It's a bit noisy. Overall 10 of 10. The best hotel in Cusco!

This hotel was not chosen by us but was selected by the tour operator as a part of our tour, which included a visit to Machu Picchu, followed by a cruise, out of Lima, with Holland America Line. It turned out to be a very good choice although I can't comment on room prices as it was all part of...

I would like to share an experience from a recent trip to Peru during the Easter period in April 2014 with a great outcome. I was on tour with Trafalgar Tours in South America and we stayed at the Novotel Hotel, Cusco, Peru overnight and checked-out on Good Friday 18/04/14 to depart for Lima, Peru. At the airport in Cusco,...

Stayed a couple of nights in this hotel. Not bad for the price. The standard room we stayed in was a bit snug, larger than a European hotel room, but smaller than a US hotel room. The bed was comfortable, have hardwood floors, cable TV, AC and considering the of the room, the bathroom was pretty good sized and modern. Our...

This Novotel is not typical of chain hotels. It is in an old building located in a narrow old town street within walking distance of the old town centre & restaurants. The entrance courtyard is extremely well done. Breakfast was good - we didn't eat any other meals here. A very upmarket character filled hotel in Peru. Staff were helpful.

This hotel is what you expect from a Novotel. It is centrally located in Cuzco within walking distance of most shops, restaurants and museums. We were upgraded upon arrival and were given one of the colonial rooms which are full of charm and character. All the staff we came into contact with were helpful and Carlos was a great help...

Having expected to stay in the usual acceptable standard of Novotel accommodation I was pleasantly surprised to find an interesting use and conversion of an older style building. The main lobby leads into an interesting glass roofed atrium, rather like a Moorish courtyard. Further on to the rear are situated modern accommodation rooms, although I understand in the main atrium...

Stayed 2 nights here April 1-3. Extremely friendly check in agents, some spoke excellent English. I speak some Spanish so could communicate with most workers, but all seem friendly and helpful. At check-in was upgraded to the "colonial rooms" which are situated around the courtyard in the main lobby/entrance area. These rooms are gorgeous, with 10-20 foot ceilings, interesting architecture,...

Our tour company booked us into the Novotel Cusco before and after we walked the Inca Trail at Machu Picchu. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was given the earlier reviews we had seen on Trip Advisor. The front part of the hotel is old world with a lovely glassed over lobby and rooms that were being renovated....
