We had a wonderful stay in this hotel and will definitely be returning in the future. I felt like every detail of my stay was carefully orchestrated behind the scenes. All of the staff on the property would always greet us with a smile and go above-and-beyond to assist us with any request. They even remembered my wife’s birthday and coordinated a surprise cake in our room on arrival after our dinner! The hotel its self is enchanting and exceptionally well-maintained. A big thank you to everyone at Palacio Nazarenes that helped us during our stay!
We stayed in a Studio Suite at the Palacio Nazarenas for two nights after our Machu Picchu adventure. The room had every comfort imaginable, including cute water bottles to keep the bed nice and warm when the temps got chilly at night. We enjoyed sunning ourselves and relaxing around the beautiful pool area, too. The restaurant served a very diverse breakfast buffet and our dinner there was also top notch with great service all around. We loved being able to walk and explore all of Cusco easily from the hotel. All around a wonderful hotel experience.
Oh my God! This is one of the best hotels I have stayed. It has rich history, beautiful colonial architecture, original art and paintings from the Spaniards and even some original Inca stones. The Spaniards turned it into a convent, so there’s a chapel (with some original and a bit scary statues!) All the rooms surround beautiful courtyards. The hotel, it’s grounds and it’s rooms are gorgeous. We stayed before and after our Machu Picchu trip. We stayed in the one bedroom suite and the king junior suite. Both were spacious and had lovely art and detailed colonial architecture. In one room we had an original brick arch that just framed the room perfectly. Regardless of which room you choose, I have no doubt it will be beautiful. What really sets Palacio Nazarenes apart is the level of service. It is top notch. Truly made our stay even more special. Staff is so friendly and happy to help you. we were greeted wherever we went and many times by name! Nothing is to hard or difficult to do for you and with a smile. Fredy made our stay especially wonderful. He always went out of his way to make sure we were not just ok, but happy with every part of our stay. Our first night I had a little altitude sickness. He even brought me an oxygen tank! Belmond also has a sister property next door, The Montaserio. Also very beautiful and I’m sure with the same level of service. We enjoyed the bar and restaurant over there as well. If you are in Cusco, just stay at Palacio Nazarenes. You will not regret it. And also do the Hiram Bingham to/from Macchu Picchu. It’s awesome.…
Fantastic room, great service, excellent hotel amenities...one of the best hotels in the world we have ever stayed at! While it is located near many sites, it is in a quiet oasis of Cusco. Unlike other hotels in the area that are very dark, both the rooms and the hotel itself are very bright and welcoming.
Exceeded all expectations! The level of service at this hotel is incredible. Warm and friendly, but always at a very high level. Beautiful breakfast included each morning, overlooking the pool and courtyard. Lovely.
Palacio Nazarenas is a wonderful hotel. The property is authentic and beautiful, and it could not be better located. Because it is all suites, it feels intimate and personal. The suites are large, beautifully furnished, and full of great touches. The food at the restaurant and poolside is very good (order the pulpo al olivo). The staff are outstanding, friendly and always eager to help and make sure you are enjoying your stay in Cusco. Going for breakfast and having drinks at the bar was a joy thanks to the warm welcome and attentive service of Giovanny, Yamely and the rest of the staff. Definitely stay at Palacio Nazarenas. More importantly, make sure you give yourself time to enjoy the hotel. Take time to enjoy the suite or spend an afternoon at the pool. You will enjoy being away from the crowds in a beautiful setting and the staff will spoil you. We became fans of Belmond Hotels thanks to a recommendation of our travel agent (Les Routes du Monde). This is our fifth Belmond Hotel. We have come to really appreciate the subdued luxury, authenticity of their properties, and personal service. Palacio Nazarenas impressed us in every category.…
Palacio Nazarenas was an oasis! We enjoyed lunch on the patio and swimming in the pool. Everyone took great care of us and made us feel like we were the only guests there. Our suite was exceptional and very clean! The location in Cusco was perfect for us. We just loved the hotel! It was the best choice!
Just magical! The level of training and the kindess of the staff was perfection. An example would be that when they would bring room service they would bring two people. Our room was a great size and the hotel is beautiful with a perfect location. My only negatives were: 1. the breakfast buffet was underwhelming and while the spa was beautiful and they were profecional, the quality of the massage was not great. I love this hotel and can't recommend it enough.
Palacio Nazarenas is a unique experience. Location, Rooms, Swimming pool, and kindly service, beyond expectation. The hotel is near the main square of Cusco, with great restaurants and bars It is a strong recommendation
Ultra comfortable, high-end without being stuffy, this place is built upon a 500 year old site which has appropriately blended the old with the new. Perfect location near the main square in Cusco and very attentive staff. Great breakfast buffet and great dinner with live musicians.
