The hotel is a good 15 minute walk from the centre and was part of a GAdventures tour. Unfortunately we had 4 nights here, 2 prior and 2 after the Inca Trail. Our first room was on the road side and was incredibly noisy and we got minimal sleep (not great before the trek). Traffic noise starts from around 5am.... More

This hotel is very basic, broken windows and lights in the bathroom, breakfast mediocre at best. The worst part of it is it's so noisy- you can hear the phone ringing in reception on the fourth floor! Staff were nice but only one spoken English well and the others just nod at you. Would not recommend!

I was booked here by G Adventures. Most of the reviews here are complaining about noise but I did not experience that. There was one night where I was moved to a room close to the street and it was only at that time that I did have difficulty sleeping. This was because of vehicular traffic- In Cusco, drivers honk... G Adventures booked me at this hotel. I probably would not have booked this if I were making the arrangements. However, the staff at this hotel were flexible and good! The staff was able to answer questions, make phone calls, and assist as much as they could. I felt safe in the hotel. The room was clean, though dated. Flushing... More

So noisy. We stayed 3 nights overall, and the noise is unbearable, from the gym with loud music starting at 6am to the noise from reception on which every room is overlooking. Also not good privacy, people in the corridor can see inside the room as curtain doesnt cover window. Breakfast is not good, avoid the juices. When we first... More

But far from main square (need to walk slightly uphill). Depending on your room it's either noisy from the street or so stuffy you can't breathe. Noises from upstairs travels and anywhere else in the hotel. The reception aren't really helpful - you sign in and they give you the key, they don't show you to your room or provide... More

We stayed here recently as part of a g adventures group before & after the Inca trail. The location is at least 15 minutes from the centre of Cusco which is simply too far. If you are out late, the doors are locked & it took 35 minutes for the night watchman to open the door. Not ideal on an... More

Staying with G Adventures tour. No window in room. No hot water for 3 days. Awful breakfast. The worst bit a gym open from 6am - 11.30pm with full hardcore bass music playing. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! There are many other better hostels to stay in. The Fawlty Towers of Peru!!

I was here on a gadventures trip. Due to the nature of the trip I was back and forth and thus stayed in 3 different rooms, which almost felt like 3 different hotels. In our first room, the shower was barely a trickle. The second room the toilet didn't flush and the shower didn't work again so we asked to... More

Part of our package to the Inca Trail....service was very poor. The girls at the 'Reception' were more interested in their iTunes and Facebook updates than any degree of customer service which was extremely frustrating. Showers (when warm) were temperamental. Lovely, smiling maids/cleaning staff however!
