We booked this hotel after very little research due to the glowing reviews. I am so happy we did as we had the best time and found the hotel to be perfect. It was centrally located but not noisy, classy but not over the top. Breakfast each morning was a huge perk and got us feeling right before lots of...

My second stay here - I like it here because it's a smaller hotel and it's away from the main tourist area but close enough to walk to all the main sights in town. Friendly and helpful staff and clean, comfortable rooms.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite big and the location is perfect. Close to the historic center but still quite. There are also computers and printers to use.

The staff is really great, the rooms are just as the pictures. Our room was big and very clean. The location is perfect, 2 blocks away of "The Plaza de Armas" which is the center of town. Totally recomended!!!!

This hotel is really small, so it does not have many amenities, but it is still a great option. It is a little removed from the main square and in a cute building with little courtyards. The room was a good size, and the bathroom was new and modern (but annoyingly it was one of those half-enclosed showers so we...

It is located 8 to 10 min walk from main Plaza. There is no noise problem as it is bit away from plaza. Neat n clean rooms nice comfortable bed. Bathrooms are adequate size. Breakfast area is small n spread is limited compared to its sister hotels in other town. Receptionist and staff knows English and always ready to extend...

This was our base for 5 days in Cusco as we acclimatised before a 4 day trek. It was quiet, very well appointed and the staff were exceptionally helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and served from an early time to fit in with whatever our plans were for the day. It was clean, comfortable and sensibly priced.

Tierra Viva is a nicer than average hotel in Cusco's old town. Its a few minutes hike from the real heart of the city but nothing too bad. The staff was great and accommodating, going out of their way to give us the bed configuration we wanted in our room and helping with our luggage needs. The main issue we...

Most comfortable giant bed I have had. They can give 5* hotels a run for their money. I booked only for one night to check it out and turned disappointed when I can't get the same room for another two nights after my trip Machu Picchu. I understand they're overbooked. Ti's too good for comfort.

We walked up the stairs to the front desk and saw this intimate little courtyard and I remember thinking "How lovely! "Location was within walking distance of the square and many restaurants. Edward was full of suggestions for places to go for great meals. We spent three days there before Macchu Pichu and one day after. It was a very...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our hotel in Cusco is located in what used to be an elegant colonial residence. Throughout the hotel you’ll find a charming contrast between this imperial city’s rich history and modern convenience and comfort. Our spacious rooms are an invitation to rest, offering the ideal place to refuel and start a new day of exploration and discovery. As was characteristic in large colonial residences, our hotel has two interior patios where our guests can relax during a sunny afternoon or enjoy a soft breeze at the end of the day. ... more   less
