Stayed here in November based on TripAdvisor reviews and we were very happy. We booked the suite for our first 2 nights before heading to MP and then a superior room for one more night after. The rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice and very helpful. It was a very short stroll to the Plaza... More

Stayed here for two nights before heading out to Machupicchu. Airport pickup is included, and they were able to accommodate me even though I took an earlier flight than I had indicated. I had a room with a large king sized bed on the second floor (203) and found it to be well appointed and clean. In particular I liked... More

An interesting hotel with rooms that spiral downwards instead of upwards. This is due the differential street levels. You enter on the reception level and then the staircases spiral downwards instead of upwards like most hotels. Due to the geographical landscape and architecture of this hotel, all the windows face inwards instead onto a stairwell or enclosed couryard instead of outwards... More

Just a short breathless walk uphill from the Plaza de Armas, and with restaurants all around, Tierra Viva is a delight. We booked a 'Superior' room which had a mezzanine seating area with skylight, as well as a well-appointed bathroom and very comfortable bed. Our first time at this altitude, but the coca tea helped, and here nothing is too... More

Very clean, attentive staff, free coca tea, large rooms compared to other places in the area, nice breakfast with good hours (5am to 10am!), walking distance to lots of great places, and they can arrange a safe taxi for you to anywhere. We stayed here twice, before and after hiking the Inca Trail, and the first room was large and... More

Nowadays, that I'm a travelholic I always take in consideration T.A. reviews to have a better idea of what expect in an accomodation. I check good and bad reviews out as well pictures. That's precisely what I did when we decided to visit Machu-Pichu and being Cuzco the base to perform such visit, I looked for a real Peruvian hotel... More

As arranged with the hotel, we were picked up at the airport. Our driver, Jesus was very friendly and started our stay in Cusco on a positive note. Our room, however, was a bit of a letdown but this was NOT the fault of the hotel. I had originally booked a Superior Room through booking.com but wanted to prepay the... More

We stayed here before and after our trip to Machu Picchu. It was very close to the main square, with a huge market just down the road where you could get anything you could possibly want. We chose this property based on Trip Advisor reviews. We booked the Suite - Room 501, and enjoyed great views and little noise during our stay of 4 nights.
