On the bright side, its location is fantastic, the wifi actually works, the breakfast is unexpectedly decent and the girl at the reception very friendly and accommodating. On the not-so-bright side, practically everything else. The room was small, the door wouldn't even close properly, the bedlinen dirty, a foul smell of mold everywhere, the bathroom horrible. And, of course, it...

I stayed at El Chaski for a total of three nights surrounding a one night visit to Machu Picchu and was very happy with my stay. I am very surprised by the amount of negative reviews on here, as this was not my experience at all. Maybe management has changed recently? First of all, this place is all about the...

We came here for a friend's recommendation. The staff from the first moment were very friendly and kind. The price is super cheap for a double room with a private bathroom. No luxury but very very cozy place! Totally recommended for people who enjoy to be with nice and friendly people! Rooms and bathroom were cleans and confortable.

The rooms are small, the furniture is old, but the price is low. if you don't have anything valuable that can be stolen... The personnel stole 140 usd from my backpack locked in my single room. I had the key with me. So only the personnel has a second key... so at the end it wss a very expensive bad...

We stayed 6 nights in Chaski Hotel, just on the Plaza de Armas in Cusco. We checked a couple of hotels when arriving in Cusco and this one seemed to best the best price for value. Rooms were big, but not that cosy. Location on the main square was nice, but bit noisy at night time. We had a nice...

I was at Cusco and the next day I was going to the Valle Sagrado/Machu Picchu, and coming back to Cusco at night. As the hotel I was before the trip was too far from everything, we decided to make a reservation on a different one, closer to the plaza de armas, for the day we'd come back from Machu...

This place looks to be nice but really is very deceiving! for some reason the water shut off completely at night and when we did get water we didn't have any hot water. We had reserved a room for when we got back late one night from an excursion, but when we checked in was told it was already rented...

This is definitely not a good place to stay in. They say lies and lies about the rooms. WE changed our hostel because their location was better and the price was 20 soles each but when we got there they said that the next day we had to move because it was already reserverd for somevody else. The next day...

I didn't spend the night in the hotel, but I found their staff to be the nicest people. They kept my luggage during the day for a reasonable price, so I could just take off and see Cuzco for the few hours I had available. It's not so easy to find a place that would keep your bags sound and...
