We found this hotel by scrolling through Expedia. We are so thrilled with our choice. Unique rooms, hot water, very close to the square, restaurants, shopping, etc. The staff all remembered our names and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. They even packed us breakfast to take with us for free when we were leaving at 5am for an excursion. I have zero complaints and when we come back to Cusco we will definitely stay here again.
From the moment we were picked up (at no charge) by Andean Wings, to checking in and being greeted with tea and a a guide, I already loved this hotel. The front desk was extremely helpful in advise on restaurants and shopping, the breakfast was included and great, and they did absolutely everything they could to make us comfortable. We even wanted to take a nap before we left for our flight even though we checked out, and they actually let us sleep upstairs in a secluded lobby. This experience was absolutely 5 stars, but there is one thing that was a theme in Cusco in general: hot water doesn’t last. I noticed this at the spa we went to and virtually every place we went. We got a room here with a jacuzzi and it could get warm, but not hot. I could not shave my legs in the shower because I had goose bumps, and my showers were rather quick and not relaxing for this reason. I don’t take any fault with the hotel over this, because I don’t think they have any true power over this. They did their best to fix it. I would recommend that if you are considering a room with a personal jacuzzi and it’s a strain on your budget, you may not need to splurge. Best hotel experience in memory, I’m so happy with our choice.…
My wife and I were VERY happy with our stay at Andean Wings. They greet you with coca leaf tea to help with the altitude sickness (which is a real thing the first 24 hours in Cusco), and they also have Oxygen if needed. It really is a 4 star hotel service-wise. If you ask for anything they immediately make it happen. Make sure to eat at least once at their restaurant too. Breakfast is included and delicious. It tastes like your Peruvian grandma is cooking for you. Awesome location, amazing service, great food. I recommend. Oh and the suites have hot tubs… yes please.
My wife and I booked this hotel during our honeymoon motorcycle trip around Peru. The customer service was exceptional, the architecture and design were very cool, our suite room was amazing, and the bar and restaurant were also excellent! This hotel is conveniently located next to the historic city center. They even put a honeymoon surprise in our room. 10/10 would recommend!
We stayed at Andean Wings Hotel before and after trekking the Lares Trail and had excellent service from before we arrived until our departure. Everyone at the hotel was more than kind and accommodating, which made our stay delightful. Shout out to Tania & Marsha at the front desk who answered all of our questions and helped us always with smiles and good humor, Ruth - our ever-so-kind and smiling waitress and Henry, as the guardian of the front door, takes his care of visitors and keeps everyone safe. The hotel itself is lovely and we enjoyed the rooms as well as the center courtyard to hang out. Thank you so very much!
I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Andean Wings Hotel. There were nine of us. The front desk attendant, Tonya, was incredibly knowledgeable and resourceful. Tonya ordered taxi’s, scheduled laundry service, set up COVID Antigen tests for us at the hotel and referred us to several great restaurants. Henry, the doorman, ensured our luggage was taken care of and welcomed us with sanitizer. The hotel itself is beautiful and has so much character. We loved spending time in the courtyard. The hotel looks like an aristocrat’s home. This hotel doesn’t look like it was built in the 15th century.
This hotel is a great value in Cusco. Just a couple of blocks from plaza de armas. The staff is great. Specially Mirsha in the front desk and Saida in the restaurants. They give the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable during your stay. The food is really good and the rooms are great. I will definitely recommend to anyone and will stay again
We had a wonderful stay in Cusco with Andean Wings as our home base. First and foremost, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The moment we arrived we were greeted and made comfortable with hot tea and a comfy couch while we completed check-in. Whether we needed a cab called, help printing up a form for our airline, or luggage stored, there was always someone available to assist with any needs. We were also given a complimentary room upgrade which was a pleasant surprise! The beds were comfortable, rooms decorated beautifully with local art, and our upgraded room even included a jacuzzi. The hotel restaurant is also very good and has an artsy/garden vibe. I shouldn't leave this review without mentioning the location, which was ideal - right in the historic district with easy access to the Plaza de Armas, San Blas, and Sacsayhuaman. We rarely needed a cab since so much was nearby. Thanks for a fabulous stay!…
The hotel goes above and beyond what is expected. Someone was always available to help and even help call and set up COVID testing for my return trip home. Breakfast used local food made to order with fresh juices. I really enjoyed sitting in the courtyard every morning eating eggs, fresh bread and cereal. Most locations are no more than a few blocks in either directions making really convenient since any Uber ride a mile away takes 15-20 minutes with Cusco traffic.
Amazing hotel !! I can’t say enough about this place. The architecture, colors, atmosphere was amazing. They have a cozy bar with a fireplace that allows you to relax and adjust to the altitude. The courtesy breakfast was amazing and service levels superb. I was upgraded to a suite as travel is down & the room was available. I can’t say enough about this property. Kudos.
