Rooms were clean. Water in the shower was always hot. The hostel is 10 mins walk from the main square. Coco, the owner, was always very helpful, prepared breakfast for us at 6.30 am when we had to leave early. We were travelling back and forth from Cusco to other locations and Coco kindly allowed us to store our suitcases... More

A very good choice of you're looking for a place to come at ease. Nice, clean rooms in a historic house and a great host! We used Cusco as a 'basecamp' and did various tours/treks from there. To come 'home' to some peace and quiet before leaving early for the next trek was very enjoyable!

We stayed two nights in a twin room and were very happy. The shower was hot and had good pressure and the beds were comfy and warm. The whole place was very tidy and nice to have eggs for breakfast. Coco is an excellent host and is always willing to help out. A very easy walk to town with no... More

I stayed at El Tuco hostel for 4 nights, in between exploring the Sacred Valley and hiking the Salkantay. The hostel is great, with large communal spaces and excellent rooms - very clean and tidy. Coco, the owner, is also extremely helpful, he is always on hand to help plan trips and to offer information. Very considerate in helping with... More

We were only meant to stay here two nights but ended up staying a week because one of us became sick. Coco was excellent in accommodating us for every night we extended. Location was not so close to the centre, but not far either and we enjoy walking so it was ideal. Only drawback was that it was a little... More

Thank you very much to Coco and his team for making us feel so welcome. Coco provided us with lots of tips and advice about Cusco and kindly looked after our bags whilst we did the Salkantay trek. The hostel was quiet and warm but close enough to Cusco to sight see and enjoy Cusco. I would definitely recommend this... More

We stayed at El Tuco in June 2016 for a total of 5 nights, using it as a base for our excursions. Cocco and Ann Marie are excellent hosts, Very friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. It is about a 15 min. Walk to the centre . I would recommend this hostel.

Me and my girlfriend spent five nights in El Tuco in between our trips around Cuzco and were more than happy with the stay. The room and bathroom was clean. Shower was really hot (not Peruvian style hot :-)) and water pressure is excellent. Whole hostel was quiet. The owners of the hostel are very nice and helpful. The location... More

The hostel El tuco is friendly, clean and charming. Coco and Annamaria, the owners, are great persons that make all the best for their clients. Breakfast is one of the best we had in our trip. unlimited fresh bread, with fresh - pressed orange juice, warm pancakes or scrambled eggs. our room had big windows, bed were comfortables.. and everything...
