The City of Cusco is the perfect starting point to explore some of the most fabulous sites in South America like the Sanctuary of Machupicchu, the Amazon Rainforest and Lake Titikaka. In the bohemian, artisan district of San Blas in Cusco lies our jewel, the Casa Boutique Spa ENCANTADA. The tasteful, modern construction, offers a lot of comfort and is surrounded by fantastic, flower filled gardens where you can relax between your tours with great views of the surrounding red tiled roofs and the city center. Away from the noisy streets of the center but only a few blocks from the main square, overlooking the city, Encantada is located in a privileged area, where you are in walking distance of the city's many churches and museums and close by the archaeological park of Sacsayhuaman. An enchanted place in the archaeological capital of South America.Services:Breakfast buffet (5.30-9.00 A.M.)Bar/CafeteriaBeautiful social areas: Panoramic Terras, spacious salon with fireplace and flower filled garden areas Spa with Jacuzzi and MassageWi-Fi and free Internet service220V and 110V current Safe depositLaundry serviceMedical attention and oxygen upon requestFree lugagge storageTourist information

The personalized service from this boutique hotel made our trip exceptional and we highly recommend. It's location is close to Plaza Del Armes, yet far enough away to be a bit more quiet. In particular, Consuelo and Jose made our trip seamless between our hiking treks by arranging taxis, greeting us cheerily at 4am (wow!) with a breakfast bag, doing our laundry between treks, and arranging an in-hotel covid test and printing necessary documents for our travel home. Breakfast is included and is a gorgeous array of fresh juice, eggs, and more. Coming back from our treks late at night, our luggage was awaiting in our rooms and we could even order dinner that was prepared for us. Hot water bottles were delivered for turn-down service for toasty feet at night.

We stayed here for several nights during our days in Cusco and between our treks to Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain. It was the cutest hotel! The San Blas neighborhood is the perfect vibe with cobblestones, delicious restaurants, and little shops. The hotel had a beautiful terrace and roof with a landscape view of the city. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was also delicious and individually prepared by the chef. The best part was the personalized service - particularly from Consuelo. She anticipated all of our needs, was up at all hours (sending us off in the early mornings when we left for our treks for example), helped make reservations for us, and was just always ready to answer any of our questions and welcome us. She was so competent and welcoming. We loved our stay here - thank you!

For Christmas break, my friend and I went to Cusco of course to visit Macchu Picchu. However, we got way more and experienced the best service. Marco, the owner was so hospitable and caring. He told us how to acclimate to the high altitude, ensured we were comfortable and truly made sure we felt at home. Consuelo, was also a sweetheart. She answered our questions no matter how small and always willing to help. We had a hearty breakfast every morning. Marco made sure of it and the cook, Jorge never disappointed. I don't think I will ever forget how flavorful his food twist. Although the breakfast always consisted of eggs and bread. He would put a Mediterranean twist on it one day and then a Mexican twist the next. It was always tasty. Last but not least Gabriel was so helpful and attentive. He helped bring up our bags and buzz us in and out of the hotel. You can tell the owner and his staff truly care about you having a good time , feeling safe, and comfortable. Although we had to leave early for our flight, Jorge still made us sandwiches! Truly a sweetheart! Oh and don't forget to ask Marco about sight seeing. He knows a lot and can help you with almost anything.

I based my selection of this hotel on the reviews, and I wish there were a way to demand all of the reviews audited for fakes. The hotel looks nice, and the staff is customer service friendly, but that's about it.

First of all, the noise. There is no sound insulation in this hotel, none. Since the hotel lobby has an open floor plan, all the room's doors on each floor are exposed to the lobby, which is also the hotel's restaurant, and you can hear everything. Do you dare dream of sleeping past 5 am or before midnight? Not at this hotel. You can hear every plate clink starting at the 5 am breakfast service and the restaurant until about 11 pm. You can hear every conversation in the lobby.

Unfortunately, the lack of soundproofing isn't just limited to the room door; the bathrooms have zero insulation too. I heard every, and I mean every bathroom noise from the neighboring room. Follow this up with the chorus of barking dogs outside, and it's terrible.

The hotel is located on a street that car travel is not allowed. Ubers and taxis will drop you off about 100 yards room from the hotels. Occasionally, a taxis will back into the street for you, but don't count of it. There is also a significant set of stairs required to enter the hotel if you have issues with stairs; this isn't the hotel for you. I think it's important to note; the hotel lists the Plaza de Arms as a 9-minute walk, which is true. However, this also includes an elevation change of about 160ft, which is a significant hotel.

Also, on a scarier note, the room's showers have windows facing outside, which gives the other of the hotel's rooms a view into your shower stall.

I don't usually advertise but I can't stop talking about this hotel. It is a place where the goal is to make the guest feel at home. Breakfast is personalized, different every day and served in the garden, the hotel is very quiet, has an incredible view over Cusco, the very friendly staff and at night they even take you a hot water bottle to warm your feet. Encantada Boutique Hotel and Spa, an unforgettable experience!JF🇵🇹

I can't recommend this hotel enough! The location is excellent and the view from the garden is one of the best we came across from Cusco. Traveling from warm weather I was happy to find hot water, and in room heater, and hot water available 24/7. The breakfast was amazing and fresh each morning, and for days we had tour departures before breakfast hours, a breakfast to-go was prepared for us. Excellent massages are also available and I highly recommend. Probably the best part about this hotel however is its friendly and accommodating staff. Jose and Jose at the front desk were so friendly and attentive to our needs. I don't think I've ever been greeted by name by hotel staff each day like I was here! Aron the bartender also made out experience amazing with delicious drinks, his friendly personality, and excellent Cusco recommendations. The staff even helped me celebrate by birthday with a cake! Choose encantada casa for your Cusco stay!!

My friend and I had an excellent stay at Encantada. Consuelo took such good care of us, including printing documents, giving recommendations, providing breakfast boxes for days we had early wake ups for Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain, getting our laundry done, and arranging reservations and covid testing to fly back to the U.S. The breakfast was beautiful - fresh juice, eggs, vegetables, and bread. Our trip wouldn’t have been as easy and seamless without Consuelo and the entire staff!

Above and beyond the amazing place that is Cusco, we got extra lucky by meeting Marco Palomino, at his restaurant “A mi manera” just a block from plaza de armas in Cusco. His food and staff showered us with attentions and next thing we knew, it became our favorite restaurant and we made new great friends! (Make sure you order the “lomo “ and the “trucha ceviche” 😋)

We decided to stay a few more days and this time we didn’t want to let the opportunity pass to stay at his magnificent hotel “Casa Encantada” full of charm, history and the best host you can find in Cusco / san Blas area. Tasty, thoughtful, delicately integrating nature with the type of experience you always want to come back for more.

The view of Cusco from the hotel recharges you with every breath you take and the stories and energy that Marco and his team can share with you are heart warming every time!

Thank you Marco for having us at your dazzling “Casa Encantada”. See you in a few months my friend!

Hotel Encantada is a hidden gem!! We arrived well before check-in and wanted to see if we could store our luggage so that we didn't have to carry them around. Not only were we able to store our luggage for free, they even got our room prepared and ready for us within 30 minutes. This was a huge gesture to my wife and I. We had just been traveling for almost 20 hours (spread between multiple flight and a 5 hour layover from 12am to 5am at the Lima airport), and this provided use an opportunity to get a much needed rest.

One of the reasons why we wanted to stay was because of the views of the city and let me tell you they didn't disappoint (what you see, is what you get). Since Hotel Encantada is above the city you are able to look out and down upon the city. The views from our room and from the rooftop patio were amazing. Additionally, we wanted to stay at a place that exemplified peruvian culture. From the entrance way, to the courtyard, to the dining area and to our room, everything had a peruvian feel to it. Our room was clean when we walked in and cleaned in the morning. The breakfast provided was also very delightful!

The hotel is only a 10 minute walk down to Plaza de Armas, over to San Blas and other Cusco favorites. **Must warn you, do not take the stairs back to the hotel too fast. You might get winded**

Couldn’t really fault it, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The place itself is very beautiful, well styled, with a lovely garden over looking Cusco. The room was comfortable and everything we needed, they even gave us a hot water bottle at night ! The only small issue was the water in the shower wasn’t very hot but I’m being picky …
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Cusco
Most important - this hotel is away from the main town centre which is very loud and busy at all times, we stayed in other hotels in parts of Cusco and they were very loud, this one is not and means you can get a good nights sleep !

Dear Beth L, our hotel is in the San Blas neighborhood, but not right at the square in San Blas, where the bars are. We are a little further up, it is usually a very quiet and calm place to be. We think you will be able to relax just fine! Looking forward to have you! Kind Regards,
