We stayed on and off for about six nights. It is cold in the rooms and our shower only intermittently worked, sometimes we had to use a shower in a different room. The place was often full with tour groups which made accessing the kitchen a little challenging at times. For the price of 50 soles a night for a... More

As others mentioned before: it's cold! We ve been there in the summer and changed the hostel, since we were freezing every night. It is really due to the building and the high ceilings. Also be aware that they do not clean the rooms during your stay. The kitchen is big, but completely dirty. Haven t had a such disgusting... More

This hospedaje is located about 5 minutes uphill (a bit of a tough walk if you haven't had time to acclimatize to the altitude yet) from Plaza San Blas and is therefore close to a range of restaurants and touristy shops. The staff were friendly and helpful and the place is really nice and quiet. All rooms were private and... More

It's well worth the walk up the hill to this reasonably priced and lovely hospedaje. We stayed in several hostels in Cusco and would 100% choose Artesano San Blas again if we returned! We stayed in a private room with bathroom for a couple for 40soles a night.

I stayed in this place for 5 nights and was very happy with the experience. This place is located approximately 10 minutes walk from the Plaza de las Armas, away from the most grigo infested areas and in a quiet location with no traffic (access is 2 minutes walk from San Blas Plaza if arriving by taxi). This place also... More

This place is significantly cheaper than anywhere else we found. We got a double bed ensuite for 20s each. That's unbeatable and has to be considered when assessing the rest of the hotel. The positives are the price, location and that the rooms are clean and the beds comfy. Less positive was the kitchen and the owners. The kitchen was... More

I stayed there with a group of friends for one week, and I loved the stay! The owner was really helpful and nice, answering for doubts about the city and trying to help with any problems we had. The hostel is really nice inside, with a good and fully kitchen and sofas outside and inside, so it's possible to take... More

Stayed here w/ a group I was volunteering with- then came back a month later when my sister came to visit and stayed again! The rooms were nice. We stayed in a triple w/ a private bathroom. We had hot water most of the time; I think I had 2 cold showers in a 5 night stay, but hey-- it's... More

Hostel located off the main tourist track, close to Plaza San Blas, 5 minutes away from Plaza de Armas. Be prepared to walk stairs-it could be tiresome depends on your condition. Totally worth it! Great outdoor space, although could be more chairs and tables. Hostel has fully equipped kitchen so you can easily boil, bake and saute whatever you like.... More

We stayed in this hostel for three nights in total, with a break in the middle to go to Macchu Pichu. Our first room was reasonable. The shower was hot but very low water pressure. The owner was friendly enough and the place itself has charm. We were moved to a different room when we came back from MP which... More
