Lovely male staff member but no heating in rooms, with -2 and a child, this is not good at all especially for $42 USD. Asked for a heater and they tried to charge me so be aware. Not cool that there's no wi fi in the room so I had to go down to reception at 12am to call home.... More

Stayed in the hostel for 6 nights whilst in Cusco and would definitely go back. Staff were very accommodating and available 24/7. The breakfast was great - eggs, bread, fruit, coffee etc. Although there were only 2 of us we had a very large room with 4 beds, the second stay with 6! The facilities were very clean. The garden... 4 friends stayed in the quad room before and after our trek. It has nice, modern facilities and a beautiful courtyard. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, helping us plan day trips but also helping to sort out issues we had with flights.

We got this hosteria recommended by friends and stayed there as a family of 5. The room directly under the attic was great, the location very convenient and the view over Cusco by night impressive. The service staff is nice and helpful. Only one thing really shadowed our stay. The hosteria belongs to the Amaru Group and offers travelling packages,... More

We loved this place, we felt like in a grandmother's house, coca tea all the time at the reception, room with heater, hot shower. Comfortable bed. The breakfast was the best we had in Peru - ask for fruit salad with cereals. The staff was also the best, José is very kind and nice, told us about places to visit... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights because availability was scarce due to a last minute booking. Our room at the second floor in the courtyard was very old and small, the bathroom was clean though, however the rooms are in need of a renovation. The staffs were very helpful, the breakfast was adequate, the hotel is five minutes... More

We made a family trip to Cusco (13 people), we stayed in La hosteria de Anita for four days. The hosteria is well located in the historical center, comfy rooms and good breakfast. Good price-service deal.

I am definitely not one to complain because I don't want people to think I am a spoilt traveller, but I have to say that our few days here were a very mixed bag. First off, I have to say that the rooms themselves were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was of a decent standard. Our frustrations started on... More

My wife and I had a very pleasant 4 night stay in Cusco last October at the Hostal de Anita of the Amaru Group. Upon arrival, we were nicely surprised to be picked up promptly by the free transfer service as we were exiting the Airport after immigration, etc. i.e. our paid transfer did not even show up while we... Back in February 2015 I reserved two rooms for 4 nights for our party of 4 to stay at Hosteria de Anita during the 2016 New Years Eve holiday - that's over 10 months before arrival. However, I was tremendously disappointed to be given among the worst rooms in the whole place, and the desk agent refused to accommodate my... More
