Nestled in the historic San Blas neighborhood, Tocuyeros Boutique Hotel overlooks the city of Cuzco from a unique vantage point. It is centrally located in the midst of the city’s famous landmarks, yet retains the spirit of a secluded traditional Casona; a quiet, warm, understated house, surrounded by spectacular views. Located at a cul-de-sac of Tocuyeros street, you will be charmed by what awaits you behind its understated entrance. Each of our 9 suites has its own character. Our first floor Courtyard Suites are warm and cozy and they overlook our garden. Our second floor Balcony Suites have cathedral ceilings and double pane windows with city views. In addition, we offer a unique suite with separate living room and bedroom, with views of both the city of Cuzco as well as the quiet Tocuyeros street. “REFUGIO” our reservation only restaurant serves a creative mix of Fusion and Classic Peruvian fare. We favor sourcing locally to ensure freshness and support local communities.

This hotel is absolutely the nicest place you will ever stay where you can't drink the water. The service is second to none, from the arrival orientation with coca tea in the beautiful lobby to the free and customizable breakfast each morning. The location is fantastic, easy walking distance to all the sites in Cusco without being directly in the loud hustle and bustle of the city. We received wonderful service from Mariela and her staff, including dinner reservations, tips on hikes/walks to take, and general advice about the area. The rooms are spacious, with a large bath tub and shower, complete with heated towel rack. While you can't drink the water from the faucet, the hotel provides bottled water each day for teeth brushing, etc. When our Salkantay trek hopes were dashed by my altitude sickness, the hotel was able to rebook us a room and the thoughtful staff delivered food and oxygen to the room.
I can't recommend this place enough. I've never stayed at any hotel in any country with such good service.

This place has great staff, wonderful views, awesome room amenities and so much more. Reception was so kind. Housekeeping was on it. Everything was spotless. The kitchen staff did their "thing", meaning they prepared wonderful dishes. And we got to taste fruit we had only heard of. The view from the room was great. Beautiful really. The room was fantastic. The water pressure at every sink, the tub and the toilet were great. The toiletries they provided smelled so good. The bed was so comfortable. That blanket in the wardrobe was so warm we slept under it every night. The room as a whole was like a New York apartment except it was cozy. Lastly the 24 hour tea bar with a variety of teas, wonderful. The coca leaf tea is a life saver and sickness can come upon you at any time. Our stay was so safe, quiet and peaceful. When I/we return to Cusco, this is where I/we will stay. This hotel is amazing.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveler reviews.
The whole place was very clean and well maintained. Rooms are large, modern and cosy – and there was proper heating, which is a huge plus compared to many other hotels in Cusco. And it was wonderfully quiet. The value for money was great! The staff was extremely friendly (!!) and very helpful.
The hotel has its own restaurant. We had dinner once and it was super delicious (see the photos)! Also the breakfast was excellent.
The view from the hotel is breathtaking and the location in the middle of the San Blas district is ideal. The neighborhood is charming and has many romantic corners.
The washing of clothes was not sooo cheap, but everything got clean and finally smelled good again after a long time on the road!
All in all, our stay was just perfect. An absolute Recommendation! When we come back to Cusco, we will definitely stay at Tocuyeros Boutique Hotel again.

As a solo traveler, I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay! The staff's exceptional attention to detail and five-star service made me feel completely at home and well-cared for throughout my visit. Whenever I needed anything, from dining recommendations to local tips, they were instantly ready to help with genuine warmth. The hotel's immaculate cleanliness impressed me, and the food was consistently excellent – perfect for enjoying quiet meals after long days exploring. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking view over the city and mountains, which provided a peaceful retreat for morning tea or evening relaxation. Oxygen and coca leaf tea provided to help with acclimatisation. An ideal spot for solo travelers seeking both luxury and comfort!

great place and people. we went from sept 16th to sept 22nd. the weather was very good. very accommodating with anything we needed help with or requested. breakfast was delicious and fresh with bread, fruit, some meats, coffee, lots of tea options, not like those cheap breakfasts in the US. we were able to upgrade our room for a good price. just know that cusco plumbing and heating is different that the US. most don't want you putting any toilet paper in the toilet. they let us do and early and late checkout. there was some construction early in the morning about 7ish AM.

Tocuyeros Boutique hotel is a lovely, quiet, small hotel 2 blocks from the Plaza D’Armas ( a slight uphill walk on the way back but manageable) in the San Blas area of the city. The staff is so polite and helpful; I emailed them prior to our stay and they had a cab waiting for us at the airport. They kept our luggage while we trekked the Inca trail, and it was waiting for us in our room when we returned. They have a dining room/lounge with a fireplace with huge windows overlooking the city and breakfast is included, they even gave us bag breakfasts on the morning of our trek when we had to leave early. The rooms and bathrooms are large and comfortable; our family of 4 comfortably shared one room. The only current disadvantage is the street outside is under construction which means cars cannot pass, so you need to walk half a block up or down from the nearest cross street on an uneven surface, not ideal for persons with disabilities. But I am sure that will finish soon. I highly recommend this hotel!

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The people here are so friendly and genuinely want to make sure you are happy. I have stayed here 4 separate times on the front and back end of hikes. They take care of my luggage while I’m gone and have it waiting in my room when I return, along with any laundry I may have left to have cleaned.
This trip I chose to stay in their presidential suit which is a huge room with a nice couch and living area with a beautiful view of the city. There’s also plenty of room for getting dressed and a desk. The bathroom has a jacuzzi tub and a large shower along with double sinks in the vanity. The room has a nice fireplace they will light for you if you are staying during a cold time of year.
This hotel has a nice restaurant, and although I normally never eat dinner at a hotel I’m staying at, I had an off night after the inti raymi festival so I wanted to do something easy. Hands down the best meal I’ve had in Cusco, all I can say is wow, Refugio is delicious.
All that and you are a very short walk to the plaza and shopping. The area of San blas is a very hip side of town with beautiful paintings all around and you’re next to one of the most famous streets in cusco. What’s not to love?

There are not enough words to express how pleased we were with our stay at Tocuyeros Boutique Hotel, but I will try. Firstly, the location is perfect. You are located right in the San Blas neighborhood, which is much more quiet and Bohemian, providing shopping, restaurants, and quaint streets to get lost in. Also, you are only minutes away from Plaza de Armas where you can explore the heart of the historic center. Next, the accommodations are fantastic. We stayed in the presidential suite, and the sheer size of the room was enough to wow us, but the quality of the room itself was top notch. The hotel also boasts an amazing restaurant, Refugio, which I dined at many nights. The food is gourmet and the service is impeccable. But the thing that truly sets apart Tocuyeros is the staff. Everyone there is incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. We were always given a warm smile every time we came to and from the property. Every time we called down to reception with a question or need, it was addressed immediately and with enthusiasm. And some special shout outs go to Mariella - who checked us in and served as our "go to" person during our stay - and Mani (Yazmani) - who made me feel like a VIP at Refugio restaurant, attending to my every need, showing such care and kindness, and even teaching me how a pisco sour is made!. We could not be more happy with our time at this wonderful hotel. Cusco was our home base for 10 days as a jumping point for various day trips and excursions, and this hotel made us feel at home though we were a continent away.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We had booked a different hotel for the beginning of our trip but then had friends who stayed here and recommended it for after our Salkantay Trek. Thanks to Tocuyeros, the last 2 nights in Cusco were wonderful and much needed after hiking 70+ miles in a week.
Before our check in, the staff let us store our extra luggage here that we weren’t going to use during our Salkantay Trek. Upon our return to Cusco from Machu Picchu, we were exhausted after hiking and camping for several days and Antonio helped us get checked in quickly, arranged for a boxed breakfast the next morning (we did a day trip to Polcoyo Mountain and had a 4:45 am departure), and took care of our laundry needs. The service here is superb!
After our last hike and second night at the hotel, we just ordered from the bistro and ate overlooking Cusco city at night. Beautiful! The bistro menu has a wide variety of items, and we enjoyed all of our courses: the avocado with chicken starter, trout ceviche, native potatoes, and fried cassava and cheese side. Everything was yummy and we were so glad to have incredible food in such a convenient setting.
I highly recommend booking here. The location, staff, food, and room comfortability exceeded our expectations for the price at which we booked.

My husband and I felt very welcome by the staff at the Tocuyeros hotel in San Blas. The hotel is ideally located in a picturesque area of Cusco, close to many restaurants, coffee shops and cute shops. Our room was comfortable, with direct access to the terrace with a great view of the city centre. We also enjoyed the cosy lobby where you can lounge on the couches and grab a tea at any time of the day or night. Breakfasts were delicious, with fresh food prepared daily, the fresh fruits every morning were incredible! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful during our stay. We had a great time, definitely recommend!

They do have massages, we weren’t able to get one scheduled in our time frame. Can’t remember the exact price but they are more expensive at the hotel than on the street.
