Nestled in the historic San Blas neighborhood, Tocuyeros Boutique Hotel overlooks the city of Cuzco from a unique vantage point. It is centrally located in the midst of the city’s famous landmarks, yet retains the spirit of a secluded traditional Casona; a quiet, warm, understated house, surrounded by spectacular views. Located at a cul-de-sac of Tocuyeros street, you will be charmed by what awaits you behind its understated entrance. Each of our 9 suites has its own character. Our first floor Courtyard Suites are warm and cozy and they overlook our garden. Our second floor Balcony Suites have cathedral ceilings and double pane windows with city views. In addition, we offer a unique suite with separate living room and bedroom, with views of both the city of Cuzco as well as the quiet Tocuyeros street. “REFUGIO” our reservation only restaurant serves a creative mix of Fusion and Classic Peruvian fare. We favor sourcing locally to ensure freshness and support local communities.

Stayed here for a few nights. Small hotel with amazing views over Cusco. Really good breakfasts, great staff and slap bang central, walking distance to everywhere. On a hill so hope you are fit. Our driver had to drop us at the bottom of the hill with our suitcases but staff from the hotel came down and carried our suitcases up to the hotel, thank goodness! Entrance to hotel goes through an Inca stone tunnel, stunning. Would definitely stay here again.

My how we loved this hotel. It helped that we had one of the best rooms with a fabulous view of the city, a coffee machine and a palatial bathroom with a jacuzzi bath. The long stone 'secret' corridor from the main street was almost medieval in style but it enhanced the privacy and gave the open terrace on the other side a special intimacy. The location is central and waling distance from the main sites, although access by car is tight, the drivers seem to know what they are doing. The hotel staff were customer focused and could not do enough. The taxi was greeted and our bags were whisked up and down the steps without us asking, our laundry was perfectly washed and folded within hours and room service was spot on. The bar seemed to be staffed constantly and had beautiful views to admire, while sipping their speciality- a smokey pisco sour. We did not eat dinner in the hotel but breakfast was a bit variable- some days pastries some days not. Sweetened cereal and poor bread in abundance but they did cook eggs to order and service was impeccable. There are plenty of eating places steps away from the hotel and the concierge was most helpful- calling to book tables and check availability. We were very happy to return to this hotel after our trip to the Sacred Valley.

This hotel was wonderful. The staff really understand what service means. When I arrived, it started raining, and Saul was quick to provide an umbrella. I was ushered to the living room area to complete my check in on a comfortable couch overlooking Cusco - a beautiful way to arrive. Saul also made sure my extremely heavy luggage was already in my room by the time I went upstairs after check in. It continued to rain that day, so I was able to use the umbrella throughout my stay, which was really a nice extra touch. Upon check out, a chef from the kitchen saw I was struggling with my luggage down the stairs and came out from the kitchen to assist me. Such service! Diego from breakfast service was also wonderful to speak with and I enjoyed my breakfast and latte with nut milk very much. I enjoyed a wonderful stay and loved how close it was to the Plaza del Armas and other sites I needed to visit during my stay.
