My friends and I had the most amazing experience at Antingua Casona San Blas!!! We hiked the Inca Trail and stayed there before and after our trek and we’re treated like absolute Queens!! The staff were so friendly, kind, and welcoming, and did everything that they possibly could to make our stay absolutely outstanding!!! Each and every one of the staff was wonderful, but I especially appreciated Lenny and Victor for helping me find my way in replacing some luggage that the airline had lost of mine on the way to Peru. I feel honored, grateful, and blessed to have met each of you!! 😊😍

My travel partner and I were blown away by how amazing this hotel was. We were recommended the hotel by a friend who had stayed there and it exceeded every expectation. The hotel is beautiful, it has the classic mix of Spanish and Incan architecture. There are fireplaces in the middle patio that we loved sitting at with a glass of wine after our long excursions. The front desk staff were very kind and welcoming, they organized taxis for us and boxed lunches for our early excursions. I wish I had saved their names to give them a shout out because they were that awesome! When we came back from the jungle they had upgraded our room because they knew we were roughing it, and the bell hop Edwin had already put our bags we stored at the hotel in our room. Every night they brought night time tea and put hot water bottles in our beds, that just adds a special personalized touch. We loved the location of the hotel as well, they are located on a small side street in the center of Cusco. Calle San Blas is part of the artist quarters and has lots of history so we loved spending time there compared to the hustle and bustle of the main plaza. The food at Piedra y Sal was so good that we barely left the hotel to eat elsewhere. We tried a lot on the menu and it was always delicious. Our server Miguel was especially great and answered all of my questions about Peruvian culture. All of the water at Antigua Casona is safe for tourists to drink as well so we saved money on water bottles. Anyone who is visiting Cusco should stay at Antigua Casona. It is centrally located, the staff is fantastic, the food and water are safe and delicious, and it is just a gorgeous hotel!

Our home away from home! We spent 9 days in Cusco and from the moment we arrived to the day we left, we felt so welcomed by the Antigua team! Here’s what sets them above the rest… Amazing team of Lenny, Edwin, Victor, and Grace greeted us, called us by name, and helped with anything we needed. We took several early morning tours and they ensured we had delicious ‘sack lunches’ that made other tourists envious when compared to the meals prepared by their hotels. We ‘checked out’ when we were away on excursions and the hotel safely kept our large luggage and promptly placed our bags in our new rooms upon our return. The Spa was lovely - we did the Inca Experience, (jacuzzi, sauna, reflexology, and massage) and were pampered by the wonderful massage therapists onsite in a private and luxurious setting. The on-site restaurant is lovely- with high quality food and prompt and attentive service. You will not go hungry- the included breakfast is delicious with so many choices including some of our favorites (breakfast bowl, huevos rancheros, oatmeal and French toast). Our favorite rooms were those with alcoves or balconies and the towel warmers! The ‘turn down’ service with hot tea and water bottles tucked gently into our beds became the highlight of our evenings as we often walked 7-10 miles each day before retiring to our rooms. Alfredo is the master bartender and stellar mixologist creating memorable cocktails for you to enjoy at their fire pits ( blankets included) - we made sure to visit him nightly for a nightcap! Location is exactly .5 miles from Plaza de las Armas, so nicely tucked away from the bustling centro. If we could rate this hotel 6 stars , we would! It’s a true gem in the heart of beautifully historic city, where the entire team from ground keepers to housekeepers, to wait staff, and reception will do everything possible to make you feel like family. Enjoy!!

There is a reason that the overall scoring for the hotel is an "Excellent 5". That is because it is! My son and I stayed here 2 nights prior to undertaking the 4 Day Trek to Machu Picchu and 1 night afterwards. The only regret I have is that we didn't stay longer. A couple of minor glitches that were resolved promptly and pleasantly. All the staff from Reception, Breakfast staff, Restaurant etc were efficient and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Was a little surprised when room staff arrived [Assumed it was the "Turn Down Service"] and we were given hot water bottles and a thermos for Peruvian Tea. Comfortable beds, a good shower, room safe etc etc. In the pleasant courtyard was a tap for filtered water that was both nice to drink and perfectly safe. We were pleased to refill our various water bottles from this source. The location of the hotel is also good being not too far from the main square

We stayed here twice! Before and after our trip to Michu Picchu. Different rooms. Lovely little touches of hot water bottle and herbal teas at night (but for some reason not on the first night) food was very good at breakfast and dinner. We had a lovely massage but didn’t like the spa and complained to management about the ridiculously hot jacuzzi and steam room. Being told the people before liked it extra hot wasn’t helpful to us. Great location and lovely staff

This hotel is a beautifully renovated old colonial hacienda and a truly calm oasis away from the noise and chaos of Cusco (only 5-10 minute walk to Plaza de Armas). The service is excellent with thoughtful attention to detail (hot water bottles and tea delivered to rooms for the cold nights). Breakfast is fantastic - fresh continental plus whatever you like from their cooked menu (we recommend the breakfast bowl or the French toast). There are great eateries on the doorstep but we also ate in the hotel restaurant a few times (the lomo saltado was amazing). There is free filtered water throughout your stay. The beds are huge and comfortable and it was very quiet at night time. The staff are magnificent, every single person is so friendly and polite and can’t do enough for you. Lenin, Edwin, Madai and the managers (so sorry we didn’t get your names) really stood out to us, they are so sweet and make you feel so welcomed and cared for. We unfortunately had to abandon a trek due to altitude sickness, luckily this place was free for an extra couple of nights and they looked after us so well. Definitely one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in - don’t even think about staying anywhere else! Muchísimas gracias chicos - te queremos Lenin!

Lovely hotel and such helpful staff. Our room wasn’t quite ready so the staff got us some amazing coffee and we sat in the courtyard, it’s so relaxing after the chaos of the main square. The front desk upgraded us as it was our honeymoon which was very kind of them. I also had a great spa treatment which was excellent value for money. Would definitely go back!

We really loved staying here. The hotel looks like it was a former house and it is has been totally re-done. All the amenities of a 5 star hotel too except for a pool and the spa is very small. It is very elegant and well styled. It has a great restaurant and bar and the staff really goes over and above for you. A good neighborhood in Cuzco and not in the middle of the craziness, but not to far from Plaza De Armas either. Generous breakfast which is included. Would absolutely stay again if I were in Cuzco. It was great, and an excellent value.

We had one night stay at this wonderful, classy hotel. It is centrally located in the nice part of the Cuzco city. The hotel is beautiful as was our room, which was also spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was large + comfortable. The bathroom was modern and functioning. We had dinner at the restaurant which was great. Really delicious well-presented food. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a very early start for an excursion in the morning so the hotel arranged for us the most excellent of breakfast bags. We're just sorry we didn't get to stay longer. If we visit Cuzco again we would definitely return to Antigua Casona San Blas. We would also recommend you stay with them. You'll have a lovely time.
