I just signed on to write a review for this hotel and was not at all surprised to see it listed as the #1 hotel in Cusco. This hotel is exceptional. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and have all the desired aminities (including great water pressure and lots of hot water). The food at the restaurant is exquisite and delightfully presented. What makes this hotel so wonderful, however, is the staff. Everyone is so kind and accomodating...they make everything, including getting COVID tests, arranging airport transport, printing departure forms, etc. SO EASY. Every employee at the hotel is helpful and accomodating, but I want to give a special shoutout to Alfredo, the bartender, who - without even asking - brought us an ice bucket and four glasses for our bottle of warm corn beer (that we bought elsewhere). This is the sort of service this hotel provides. Another standout is Emerson. He recommended the most incredible spa exerience we've ever had (definitely book this appointment): an hour in a private sauna (with coca leaves), jacuzzi, and shower, followed by an incredible couples' massage (both Judy and Hilda are excellent therapists - and much appreciated after hiking the Salktantay trail!). He helped us with all of our COVID documentation, arranged taxis, answered our many questions, helped with our bags, and basically made our trip and lives so much easier every day we were there. Before arriving in Cusco, we booked Antigua Casona San Blas for the first few days of our trip and then another hotel for the last few days. After checking into the 2nd hotel, we immediately decided to check out early and return to Antigua Casona San Blas for our final night. Once you stay here, you won't want to stay anywhere else, so please take my advice and treat yourself to this extraordinary experience for each day you're in Cusco. You're welcome. :)

Words can not properly express how happy and completely 110% satisfied we are with the entire staff at the Antigua Casona San Blas Hotel in Cusco, Peru.  I am a Travel Agent and an International Travel Director taking small groups all over the world staying at high-end luxury resorts, and I have to tell you the entire staff at the Antigua Hotel absolutely exceeded our expectations. Each and every staff person was kind, considerate, passionate, well informed and, most of all, an excellent Hospitality Ambassador.  The Antigua Hotel management team should be very proud of the training they have put in place and how well their employees have performed. And a special pat on the back to "Emerson", who was beyond incredible in every form and fashion. Michael & Kimberly Naples, Florida Sept 10, 2021

This is an amazing hotel and I have no idea how it only has 3 stars. We stayed here for 4 nights and our experience was absolutely wonderful - in addition to having beautiful rooms, this hotel has impeccable grounds and common spaces - beautiful outdoor seating space with heaters/gas fireplaces for the evening and a ton of cozy seating areas throughout. The included breakfast was insanely good - the best one we've had in over a week in Cusco. Can't recommend enough!

My second time staying here. The staff is amazing (especially Carlos). The food is divine. But the service really sets it apart. I love the decor and rooms abs the location is unbeatable. This is the best hotel in Cusco.
