Pleasant room, with a comfortable bed and a good hot shower. There was a heater in the room and we were also offered extra blankets which we didn't need. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast (included) was basic but adequate; we had dinner in the restaurant one evening and it was fine with good service. Good value for money.

The receptionist, Jessica, is an absolute Gem. The staff is very happy and friendly. It feels more like being with friends and family than a hotel. No wifi, no heaters, no closets in rooms. Rooms are basic but clean. There is hot water. The food in the restaurant is very good. They cook just for you if there are no... More

We had 2 rooms & they were clean, comfortable but very small & stark. We had a sick child so did not stay for breakfast. We did not see any staff other than when we first arrived but that may have been due to it being New Years Eve - it felt very soulless.

The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly and the rooms were good. My only criticism would be that, in common with many mid-range hotels in Peru, it was rather stark. While we were there the restaurant was empty and a bit forbidding so we ate in Pachamama just down the road.

Nice rooms, great staff and good restaurant. You can rest there. You will need it if you have planned to walk in the canyon !

My wife and I stopped at this Posada on our way for a three day trek down Colca Canyon. We then returned for the night at the end of our trek and found the comfort, cleanliness and friendly service a great relief. Our room was excellent with a great hot shower and very comfortable bed. Food was good too and... More

We stayed at this hotel, or at least it's offshoot (Same name, but with Travel Lodge at the end of it and in a slightly different area of the same village) whilst on an organised tour inside of Colca Canyon. The room was basic, just a bed, lights and a nice enough bathroom (always hot water) - but it was... More

I stayed here in Dec 2006, they gave us a matrimonial room for $15 for the night but I think their on-season prices (June-Aug) might be double that, we got a discount because we were the only people there. The room was clean and nice, had very reliable hot water, its a basic place to stay, no TVs in the... More
