A fantastic place at last. We have toured Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo, Cusco,Puno and surrounding areas. Arequipa is the last and by far the best accommodation. Many fabulous places, Machu Picchu rates number one, Ollantaytambo an excellent second choice. As for accommodation the Casona Plaza Hotel Colonial true value for your money is the place to relax and unwind. Looking up...

I've to say for the price, this is a descent place to stay, 3 blocks from the center, and 1 block from San Camilo market. Clean and friendly. Not everyone can respond you in English in case you can't get around with Spanish. I suggest this place.

I stayed in this hotel on 27th October with a group of friends. It had been booked by the agency since it was an organized tour of Peru'. The hotel, only 10 minutes walk from the main square, is very clean and quiet, the rooms are big enough and comfortable, bathroom is very clean. We appreciated very much breakfast for...

The breakfast was very basic (sliced meats, cheese, bread, cereal, fruit). The room we had was at the very end, outside, two twin beds. In the winter, you must have a plug in...

Nice, clean, modern rooms that I have no issues with. The only let downs were : 1. We were given the first room in the corridor and had a rude awakening when the TV in the breakfast room was put on maximum volume at 7 a.m. 2. We let reception know about a blocked toilet when we headed out in...
