Villa Elisa far exceeded our expectations for our stay in Arequipa. The owners and staff are delightful, friendly and helpful. The room was super comfortable, the grounds and garden are magical (numerous close encounters with hummingbirds!), and a pleasant, safe walk to the Plaza de Armas. We'd definitely stay here again!

Delightful helpful staff, a great location and a lovely garden with humming birds. The location is perfect - 10 minutes walk into the historic centre but an oasis of peace at the hotel. Thank you so much for looking after us.

My experience there was so amazing, just one point the food and beverage must be better, the view of the garden was beautiful, with the small fountain, maybe the television can be more bigger, for people more old.

After the many early starts in the Sacred Valley, Puno and Chivay it was bliss to enjoy leisurely breakfasts in the garden watching the humming birds. We prefer small hotels and were very happy with Villa Elisa. It is located in a calm and safe area and is an easy 10/15 minute downhill walk to the centre of Arequipa. It...

After suffer three days of no water in a hotel near the Plaza de Armas a friend recommended Villa Elisa. They have their own water supply, the only hotel that does, and an electrical generator if needed. My stay was delightful! Peru is a third world country and, unlike all the other hotels in the city, they are prepared, in...

I had not been to Arequipa for 20 years. My daughter arranged a trip to visit Peru with some friends and choose this hotel with the recommendation of a local friend. Jean Louis was an incredible host and the hotel exceeded our expectations. It is truly a gem of a hotel and we will certainly be returning on our next...

We enjoyed a two night stay at the Villa Elisa. The location is in a quiet area but within walking distance of the Plaza Des Armas. It is an old building with many renovations and a romantic history of how it started. Jean Louis is a friendly and accommodating host. The room we had was spacious with a balcony overlooking...

Thank you Elizabeth for your comments . We are pleased to see that you enjoyed your stay in AREQUIPA and VILLA ELISA. Thanks for mentioning the shower and alarm points . Yes, it was our alarm system and this was due to the unusual heavy rain. It must be a good security system because, I struggled to desactivate it ....
