The hostel was clean, breakfast (very basic) included and the location was great. Some of the staff just drives you nuts. Running around, sighing, panting. Everything looks like a chore.. and that gate. In many other hostels we could let ourselves in, here you have to wake up the entire hostel to be buzzed in...

Small family managed place. The daughter is learning English and tourism so she was absolutely helpful. Showers are unisex so good for the guys I guess. Great 360 views from the roof. Only annoyance was the gate being locked at all times and waiting for someone to unlock it.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The staff was friendly and the room and bathroom was always clean! But if you'd like a hostel to get in contact with other backpackers I wouldn't recomand this one. One of the ladies who work there is always (!) running around... that drove me crazy!

The rooms are big and relatively clean. The location couldn't be better, right between plaza de armas and the monastery. Standard breakfast is served on the terrace. However, the one lady of the staff seems extremely stressed and should be avoided. We asked for some hot water for tea (which we paid for), and she freaked out... How could we... More

We stayed here for a couple nights and the location was ideal. Staff were super helpful and friendly, going out of their way to help us with laundry and tour arrangements. The shared bathroom was spotless, and we only had noise issues one night when some guests returned late after a night out. Downsides: the wifi wasn't great and the... More

The hostel is located in the historic center, walking distance to everything. It has a terrace with nice views. The rooms are simple but clean, good wifi signal. The staff were friendly and very helpful, We were really thankful that they helped us with everything, but we cannot say the same of the night staff who seems to have the... More

We stayed there to save money and it was pretty nice. Hot water, good bathroom and shower, bed was a bit hard but okay and the room was quiet. The downside was only one plug in the room and there is rarely someone at reception. They have another hotel 50m away and when you want to leave or enter you... More

This was the first place we walked into when we arrived in the evening to Arequipa. It's really close to the main square, the rooms are nice and everything is clean, breakfast is included, but most of all the staff is incredibly friendly! My boyfriend got sick and they brought him coca tea, I asked dozens of questions about tours... More

Well one of the best hostel Ive been during my journey through south america, this hostel is just few blocks of the plaza de armas and many others city attractions. We slept there 3 nights with my girlfriend. The accomodation was nice, shower with warm water and the staff very friendly and helpful. They even kept our luggages during our 4 days trip in the canyon de Colca. We recommend this place !
