Stayed here after a beautiful but tiring trek to Machu Picchu and wow, what a perfect place to unwind and relax. Quite possibly the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Arequipa is a beautiful city and Cirqa was the perfect place to enjoy it from. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back. Already missing sunsets from the rooftop bar!
We had an absolutely incredible experience at Cirqa. My partner and I had just gotten engaged before arriving and were so excited to have a pampered experience in Arequipa. The staff were super attentive, professional and very kind, helping us with anything we needed in the hotel as well as things to do in town. The food was divine! Fabrizio was super knowledgable about wine and suggested the most delicious drinks and bites during happy hour. The morning breakfast was absolutely delectable, including foods local to the area. The rooms are just wonderful - I don't think we've slept in more comfortable beds! The design was gorgeous, just like the rest of the hotel. We made a reservation at the pool in the late afternoon (you must make a reservation and the pool is private to your party at this time) and if was the perfect way to decompress after a day of exploring the city. My massage was AMAZING. We had just hiked Machu Piccu and my body was in need of a good deep tissue - and this was just what I needed. All of the details have been thought of at Cirqa to make the experience one of a kind. So excited to stay here again one day! …
We stayed there after the Belmond Andean Explorer train. We love this hotel. The location is right in town you can step off the busy road and be in a sanctuary. It is an old monastery, renovated with an elegant modern style. The service is the best part. All the staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. Breakfast and dinner are included and the food is one of the best we have had in Peru.
We stayed in an Aposento room for the last night of a two-week Peruvian adventure. What a great way to end our trip! The hotel has such a history, dating back to the 1500s which you can read about as you walk though the beautifully restored and updated hotel property. It is a small hotel but doesn't feel that way. The internal grounds exude calm and peacefulness even though it's located right in the center of beautiful bustling Arequipa. Our room was a spacious modern work of art inside the stone bones of the monastery. The restaurant where we had dinner an breakfast, and the rooftop sitting area where we had tea, were both wonderful. Food was exceptional and service was spectacular. Highly recommended when visiting the White City.
Words can’t describe the experience of staying here It’s just stunning Our room 7 was large , warm, bed to die for and lovely furnishings The staff make your stay so special from front of desk to waiting staff and security all just so lovely The food is a wake up to your taste buds ,try local cray fish ! The menu is a journey of utter delights Roof top bar is also worth sitting and watching the world according to Arriquipa
CIRQA was fantastic in every way. My travel agent (Les Routes du Monde) insisted that we make CIRQA the very first booking of our trip and anchor the rest of our travel in Peru around that booking. He was absolutely right. It is not just the best place to stay in Arequipa (by far), but we would return to Arequipa just to stay at CIRQA. The hotel and the rooms are a stunning combination of old and new, of stone, steel and glass, incredibly atmospheric. The hotel is located in the very center of Arequipa, a block or two from the main plaza and all of the sights. Yet, inside you are completely insulated from the hustle and bustle of the city. And since it is not a large property, the atmosphere inside is relaxed and intimate. Best of all was the service. Camilo and his team were incredible. The staff are very friendly and provide a service that is personal and discreet. It had the feeling of a private club without the stuffiness. The staff were great with our three kids. We had a table waiting for us at breakfast each morning and at dinner every evening. The breakfast is a joy. Definitely choose the half-board and have dinner at the restaurant, the food was delicious. You should also have drinks at the rooftop bar where Fabrizio offers great cocktails and conversation. We really look forward to staying at CIRQA again and are eager to try out its sister hotels in Peru.…
We had a wonderful 1 night stay at the property. The staff was so kind to arrange an early check-in despite us arriving extremely early! It was a holiday weekend so many excursions were booked out but they did everything to arrange us a really fun day. The daily breakfast is incredible and we also took advantage of their deep-tissue massage (which is so good!). Don't forget to soak in the sunset on the rooftop if you end up staying here because that's what we took advantage of the evening when we had to check out!
I stayed in CIRQA hotel for 2 nights with my boyfriend and I can't express enough that it was the best decision. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Arequipa from where you can walk to all the main attractions. The hotel staff were really helpful, courteous and looked after us in every possible way throughout our stay. Can't recommend this hotel more. We will definitely be visiting this hotel soon!
My husband and I were staying at the Titilaka resort in Puno, the airport we were supposed to fly out of closed down for the week! The staff recommended we leave the resort 1 day early and take a 6 hour drive to stay at the sister property CIRQA in Arequipa (which is is where the next closest airport was located). We reluctantly agreed but wow.....are we glad we did!! The drive from Puno to Arequipa was spectacular and once we arrived at the CIRQA hotel we were blown away with the beauty of the hotel. My husband and I have traveled extensively all over the world and CIRQA was one of the most beautiful hotels we have stayed at. The staff was amazing, the food fantastic and the tour guide Leo was incredible. If you are visiting Peru I would highly recommend adding Arequipa to your list of places to visit and definitely stay at CIRQA!! …
Cirqa is a combination of luxury and history. Couldn’t think of a better place to stay in the heart of Arequipa. The entire design and details of this hotel left me in awe! The staff was super attentive and kind to our needs. The city center was very close by and so is the Convent of Santa Catalina. Elegance and beauty is all I can think of when looking back at my Cirqa memories.
