We travel frequently, to different destinations worldwide, and I could say without a doubt that at Cirqa we have received some of the best services, at the same level of any luxury hotel in the world. The attention to detail of all its personnel is remarkable. The architecture of the building where Cirqa is located, a monastery from 1540 built with local volcanic white Sillar, combined with its exquisitely designed contemporary renovation, make it a truly beautiful space. Rooms are beyond comfortable: efficient, impeccable, well designed and beautiful. The restaurant is also excellent, with typical arequipa dishes redesigned in a fantastic way, and with all sanitary measures taken. We went there for new Year's eve, and we definitely plan to return, since the city of Arequipa and surroundings have so many interesting places to visit. We recommend Cirqa without hesitation.…

i never was too keen on going to Arequipa until the hotel opened. we took a 3 day trip and we absolutely loved it!! The hotel is extremely well decorated, the building itself if so beautiful. Rooms are soo comfy and pretty. Food is excellent and best of all is service!! Such an attentive and friendly staff!! Best lemonade and mojito ever! Cocktails are outstanding, waitress are smiley, and the tour guy is exceptional! 10/10

After a busy, eventful time in Lima, it was wonderful to arrive at CIRQA in Colonial Arequipa. From the moment we arrived the staff was so welcoming at this most charming, serene and unusual setting. A centuries old Monastary architecturally transformed into the most comfortable, beautifully designed space. Our room was stunning with everything so comfortable and all the amenities one dreams of. The food was delicious and so interestingly presented. The setting was walking distance to the main square surrounded by historic churches and other buildings. Don't miss this enchanting hotel.

Our travel agent Aracari recommended a visit to Arequipa and a stay at Cirqa during our Peru vacation. We are absolutely thrilled. First, the city is magical, truly the "white city" with a beautiful central plaza, historic architecture and delightful general ambiance. Very few tourists which was such a nice contrast to Cusco. The hotel is magical, with modern decor carved respectfully out of a 16th century convent. The staff is delightful, the food delicious and everything about it very special and unique. Truly a highlight of our whole vacation and our favorite hotel amongst the luxury hotels we stayed in during our time in Peru. Many thoughtful touches throughout, we will long remember this special place.

Incredible gem of a hotel in Arequipa. The design, service, and attention to detail are all impeccable. The contrast of sleek, modern furnishings in the rooms and common areas against the centuries-old structure of the monastery is striking. There is always someone there when you arrive or return to the property to greet you personally and address anything you might need, be it restaurant reservations, a portable hotspot, or tea/cocktails on the terrace. The on-site restaurant is also amazing, and we would definitely recommend booking at least half board to take advantage of dinner and breakfast. Beyond all of this, Cirqa’s location in the heart of Arequipa (one of the most beautiful cities in Peru), just a block off the main square, tops this off as the best place to stay in the city.
