My husband and I would not want to stay anywhere else in Cuenca. This was our third stay at this lovely hotel, and after spending almost three weeks here we are not looking forward to our departure. Rather, we are looking forward to returning next year. The hotel exudes old world charm. Its appointments, furnishings and gardens are, to say... More

Excellent location. Easy walking to everything. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I had a room backing onto the garden in back. Quiet and private. Nice views from upper levels. Be aware of rooms facing the street. It can be very noisy at night as there are bars in the area and the street is very popular. The restaurant has... More

First and foremost, I want everyone to know that I am not exaggerating any claims I'm about to make. Hotel Victoria, the staff members, the rooms, the food, and the location were great! Upon arrival on my first day at the hotel, I was greeted with a big cool aid smile by Victor and Fredo (staff members). They were very... More

We stayed at the Hotel Victoria for two nights at the end of a mountain bike vacation in Ecuador. We had a room with an amazing balcony overlooking the river and newer part of town. We could hear lots of music during the evening which was pretty cool, the noise was gone once we closed the doors. The service was... More

Very good location in Cuenca, nearby all restaurants and bars. Rooms were ok, bathroom needs refurbishing as shower was old and not functioning very well. Breakfast is nice, with typical local bread. Overall was a good stay with friends and family.

The location of this hotel is perfect for restaurants and going out and visiting the river. The staff was excellent. The price of the rooms were on the high side, but the breakfast and the view and the staff made it worth it. Try to reserve a room with a balcony overlooking the river.

My wife stayed at the hotel for one night only. Our double room was overlooking the river so the view was great. But there were mayor issues with ants in the beds as well as leaking shower which lead to a solid 1 cm water all over it. Not good.

You can't put a price on the kind of service we received here. The staff went out of their way to make our stay so memorable - from genuine, friendly greetings every day to offering to clean our boots after we returned from a hike (!) to daily suggestions on sights to see. Everyone was just over-the-top friendly and helpful.... More
