Cuenca suites is fabulous! The location is SUPERB. There is a park right around the corner along with multiple restaurants, bars, cafes, and markets. Great wifi. DirecTV in english and spanish. Super super safe with a locked wooden door at the street, a locked iron gate, and then of course, your personal locked door like you would have in any hotel, keyless entry with just a card to enter. Endless hot water. Super comfortable beds. Plenty of blankets and pillows, all very warm and cozy. The owner is incredibly kind and accommodating, especially so during the pandemic. Everything was super clean, crisp white sheets, white towels, just as you would expect in an upscale hotel. There was also plenty of supplies for cooking. I cannot recommend this place enough. I will not stay anywhere else for my next visit in Cuenca.…
Cuenca Suites is in a great location, 10 minutes walk to the central part of the historic district, and surrounded by good restaurants and shops. The room and kitchenette was very clean, well appointed for a short stay, and secure. Rebecca and her partner are fabulous hosts and very helpful.
The hotel we originally booked was booked out. We booked Cuenca Suites really last minute. We arrived at the hotel and were warmly greeted. Upon hearing our horror story about the previous hotel, Rebecca gave us an upgrade. Both Rebecca and her husband are very well organized! The room we stayed in was sparkling clean and very big. Rebecca provided us with additonal blankets and also her whatsapp number incase we needed any help. The location of the hotel is perfect!!! It is surrounded by restaurants of all kinds! And there’s a nearby park. I can highly recommend this hotel!
We had an amazing experience at the cuenca suites. The room was super clean and they gave us a free upgrade. In addition Rebecca (the host) was so friendly and well organized. I highly recommend to visit this accomodation.
We especially loved the San Sebastian neighborhood where Cuenca Suites is located. It's a bit out of the city center but an easy walk to get to the main part of the city. There are a wide variety of restaurants nearby - we especially liked Tienda Cafe for breakfast. We spent 9 nights at Cuenca Suites in a Superior Studio Room. Our room was large and the bed very comfortable. The small kitchenette had a refrigerator, plates, glasses, pans, and basic things we needed to prepare a simple meal. There are also many small shops nearby to buy food and/or wine. Rebeca and Simon were excellent hosts and gave us advice about things to do in the region. If you like a fun workout, there is an aerobics class every evening at 8:00 p.m. in San Sebastian Park nearby.
