Wonderful stay at Cofradia del Monje!! All of the staff were kind, friendly and accommodating. The wifi was fast and always worked. The food in the little restaurant was fine and inexpensive, although I only ate breakfast there. The location couldn't be beat. Only a 2 minute walk to Parque Calderon and centrally located to all of the historic center....

We stayed two nights here and visited the city, the room was spacious and with a very nice view on the square and the catedral, breakfast was okay and it was very quiet for a hotel in the middle of town, the only drawback is finding a parking place if you have your own car.

Not only did this hostel have balconies with cool views for every single room, but the service was excellent. My friend and I walked back from the bars and arrived kind of late and they had closed their gates, but they have someone who works around the clock to come and unlock it for your safety. The rooms were clean...

This hotel fronts a daily market and is by the main cathedral in Cuenca. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is safe, the food is good. It is basic - don't expect any extras. Early evening and morning there are many cars; this can be loud and sometimes can smell exhaust fumes. It's a good price value.

This is a beautiful colonial style hotel. We had a spacious room with amazing view. Perfect location. Good value. Price includes breakfast. Very friendly staff! The hairdresser next door is also a nice experience.

Loved the setting, close to the cathedral and the central area. Jenny was outstanding as a host, offering great advice, helping us get a great deal at the spa and just being accommodating about everything.

The hotel is in an attractive, old colonial building, with lots of wood and an elegant staircase. The room was nicely decorated and had a lovely view of the cathedral, although I noticed the finish was a bit rough round the edges, especially in the bathroom. My only real problem with all that wood is that noise carries, so bring...

often, when you ask for a single room in a hotel you get the "shabby ones" that go to the inner courtyard or are tiny. Here I had the feeling that they offered me the best room they have. A hugh room with an exceptional view on the cathedral. I really loved it and enjoyed the clean room with nice...

Of you are considering staying here, don't even give it a second thought, just do it. The rooms are amazing for what you pay, double bed, private bathroom, a balcony that overlooks the 'New Cathedral' and a warm and inviting covered courtyard. As a bonus there is also free wifi and cable tv in the rooms.

We were in Cuenca for our honeymoon. This is a cosy hotel on plaza san Francisco with tons of charm. Old creaky wood floors, nice interior and a balcony with a view of the cathedral and the plaza. Clean bathroom and towels with complementary soap and shampoo. The hotel is run by 3 ladies who are great and do everything...
