There were a couple things I liked, the location & the view from the terrace. The other honorable mention would be the bed, it was comfy. Unfortunately, when we arrived they had no idea about our reservation because they were volunteers and the owner had taken off for the weekend. That pretty much sums up the place, not a lot...

Very friendly and beautiful interior decor! Probably the nicest bathroom/shower I've used in South America so far! The manager, Tony, was extremely helpful and offered lots of travel advice. Upon arrival I was welcomed and invited to join staff and guests for dinner.

I decided to stay at this Hostel as a friend reccommendation. The place is central located, the personal is super nice. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is tasty. They helped me with acurate information about what to see and do. As a solo travel with a basic spanish is sometimes hard to comunicate! This is the place to stay...

Apparently this place has changed. I found it just by looking around. Its located opposite the mercado central just accross the plaza. Has a pretty terrace on the 4rth floor with a restaurant serving food. Wifi is very good around the place, and the bed was amazing, o e of my best sleeps so far! No hot water though..

The rooms come off the cafe so a) it's very loud until midnight ish b) you have to walk through a busy cafe/bar to get to the shower which I hate! c) no breakfast included Good location. Good beds and small dorms. Not much else to recommend it.

Location is great, from here you can walk everywhere. The private double room we had was decent and clean, and the shared bathrooms were clean too, and had hot showers. The little cafe inside is really nice, but because of construction work a bit too loud to hang out when we were there. The wifi didn't work in our room,...

This is my first review on Tripadvisor. Last year I was travelling for 9 months in South America, this year for 5 months so far, and have been in 55 different cities in Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador & Colombia. As the title says, this place is a bar, with 3 shared bedrooms located around the area of tables. Apparently, the...

My girlfriend and I just spend three nights here during our trip through Ecuador. With prices ranging from 25$ per double room with private shower and down, this is a quite recommendable hostal, since you have an amazing location added to the price. It is located just two-three blocks away from the new cathedral and within walking distance of everything....

we spend 3 nights in this hostal. There is a nice staff and bar with a lot of people, the wrong side is the noise during the evening (until 11pm or 12pm the week end). The rooms are very clean and there is hot shower but the bedding is old and unconfortable.

Very cosy and nice! The atmosphere is nice and the staff is kind. The restaurant has good food - and amazing cakes! Only one littl thing: we didn't have wifi in our oom and there are only 2 toilets/showers for quite a few people! But still, very affordable and... cosy!
