Spent a few days here and could not have asked for a better time. Staff was eager and attentive. Rooms are spacious and we'll designed. They have all amenities and needed and then extra. Enough bathrooms. I never had to wait. Breakfast was nice as well. Thank you!!!

After reading the positive reviews we were excited to visit this hostel so when we arrived we were a little disappointed. The kitchen was dirty so didn't want to use it. Our private room was a bunk bed in a grubby room with no window just off reception. On a positive note, breakfast was nice and the people on reception...

We arrived late and tired at the Bauhouse and they just finished their free dinner evening. We've been lucky they had some leftovers which they offered to us. Breakfast was also good. Rooms and Bathrooms are clean and cozy. Cuenca is a beautiful little town with good restaurants and friedly people

We are travelling around South America as a late twenties/early thirties couple and we stayed in Bauhouse in a nine bed dorm for two nights. I couldn't speak highly enough of this hostel. Location is unbeatable, 2-3 minutes to the main square. Value for money is excellent ($9 per person) especially considering breakfast is included. Rooms were comfortable and extremely...

I stayed in this hostel for a couple of nights with my friends. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the hostel does nice free breakfast and has two rooms for movies or computer games. Perfectly located close -2 min walk- to the main plaza. Only wifi doesn't work well all over the place.

We stayed a few nights in the Bauhouse and we didn't enjoy it as much as we thought. The rooms are very noisy, inside and outside the hostel. The showers and toilet are dirty and you have to ask for toilet paper nearly every day + there are only 5 toilets and 3 showers for the entire hostel (approx. 30...

It was a pleasure to stay here. Everything is so clean and good looking. The locacion is perfect, 1 block from the main square. The kitchen area is big and well equiped. The staff always helped me so much. One night we had a movie with free popcorn, it was great. The rooms are spacious and have a balcony.

I arrived at Bauhouse hostel weary from a long Friday of bus travelling, and got a friendly welcome from the receptionist and a nod of encouragement to join the Friday night pub crawl that had just left for town. I stayed in August and it was the second week the hostel managers (two young Ecuadorian guys) had decided to put...

Loved this hostel in Cuenca. It gets 5 stars from me due to; •location - It's a very short walk to the main square. • price - Had a 9 bed dorm for $9 including a great free breakfast. Also happened to be there the day that they did free dinner too. Bonus! Wifi is generally good though did cut...
