I stayed in this hostel for over 2 weeks and have nothing but high ratings for the people whom run this hostel. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The hostel has an open garden in the middle of the surrounding rooms. The people running the hostel maintain the place everyday and are very friendly and if you need something,... More

We stayed here for five days between Xmas and New Year. Great location, within two blocks of the river and very close to the cathedrals. Room was small, but with ample storage space to put away suitcases and hang clothes. Bathroom also very small, but ample hot water at all times. Room had been completely redone so everything was spotless.... More

We stayed about 4 nights in a room at Villa deal Rosario and rather liked it. It isn't flashy and has almost a bit of a damp feel to the rooms but they're are at a great price and we had access to the kitchen, which made our Cuenca stay much cheaper. It is in a great location, very near... More

The hostel is close to the center and offers rooms with private bathrooms. In the common kitchen you can prepare breakfast. The living room invites to rest or watch TV. The patio is nice as well. The spanish-speaking staff was really adorable and helpful, I would fully recommend it!

We stayed for 2 nights. I was amazed on how quiet and lovely our stay was. The owners were always around and asked if we needed anything. They also had an in house doctor. I felt like i was staying at a family member's house. Very relaxed And well taken care of. Definitely coming back!

Simple, inexpensive hostal with all the exquisite charm of an old Cuenca colonial villa. The rooms are rustic but clean. Don Luis was particularly helpful. Note the small painting of the entrance hall.

Rooms are very quiet. We had hot water, a large room, and got the tip to tkae the public bus to ingapirca which costs for 2 14 dollars plus 12 for the entrance fee. If we'd book it via a travel agency it would have cost as 100$

Nice hostal in a old colonial villa. Clean and tidy room though the bed sagged a bit. Nice common areas around a garden courtyard and good communal dining area. Good location close to main attractions and scores of local cafes and bars in the area.

We had a good experience in this hostel, that was a lot cheaper than the other ones we found in the neighborhood (half the price for a double). It's very well located, the rooms are clean and comfy, we had towels and soap included in the price. There is a big kitchen and courtyard that ate free of use, and... More
