Le Parc is a great value and a wonderful hotel. I've stayed in several different rooms and they are all spacious and comfortable. The wifi ALWAYS works, which is great because I work online. The staff are the absolute best and so accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.
I would highly recommend Le Parc to anyone visiting Quito! Perfect location, spacious rooms, incredibly friendly staff, and gorgeous/chic decor! I'm excited to see the new Le Parc and will certainly book there when I return to Quito. What a beautiful city in a beautiful country!
They put us in two rooms, both of them had bed bugs we discovered. It was sickening and uncomfortable. A fine hotel should do a better job at maintaining cleanliness. They moved us to a second room after the first instance. In the second room we discovered more bugs in the mattress. We left the hotel early. There was no apology and they would not refund any of the nights paid, even the last night when we left early. Not a great way to run a hotel.
The staff is great, particularly the Manager Natalia. When a minor issue arose, it was taken care of immediately by her. The rooms are spacious and modern and the spa was great. The resteraunt is only open for breakfast and dinner and room service is limited as well due to COVID restrictions of the local government. Restrictions on movement/dining/etc within Quito change often so ASK OFTEN. I was traveling for business and the location was perfect, in the heart of the financial district. Safe area with shopping and fine dining near by. Try the rooftop bar for a great view of the city and a great tomahawk steak or octopus served tapas style.
I dont want to use this review to rant so I will start with the "need to knows" The hotel is very basic and small compared to American standards. It is also 45 minutes from the Airport. Important to know! The Quito Airport is an hour away from the city center and the city is long. Research your hotel according to your flight times and needs. Uber does run in Quito, which I found helpful. Now; why I was not happy with the hotel. I booked the top suit for two nights. It was large and big enough for 3 people. Upon arrival the front deck saw there were three people in our party and automictically changed my reservation to a lesser room with two queen size beds. The room was much smaller and after spending hours looking at hotel rooms on Trip Advisor and Hotels.com I had a very good idea of what I had booked; however I was two tired to argue with the staff about the booking. As a result, I went to cancel my reservation the next morning, but they informed me that I could not with such short notice and I would have to talk to the manager, who of course was not there. At this point, I didn't care and walked out with my luggage. Instead I transferred to the EB Hotel near the airport do to the fact I was going to be flying out to Galapagos early that next morning thanks to changes Latam Airlines had imposed on my schedule. So the Hotel was not accommodating and charged me for things I did not receive. The hotel hired a very good photographer and the result will set you up for disappointment. On a positive note, the hot water is hot, not warm.…
