Very quaint and clean hotel in Quito. Room 24 is up 3 floors kind of outside to get in. the room is kind of small with 2 twin beds and a small bathroom. Be prepared to climb stairs wow what a workout with luagge. No elevators in building. This place has all these cool places to sit around here. The place is gated. This place provides a hair dryer in the room as well as Shampoo and body wash. the place also has a safe built in room. Breakfest was so yummy cornflakes, oats, yogurt, scrambmed eggs with ham, toast, fresh juice. I would stay here again.. Silvia really does an amazing job running this place.

I stayed in this hotel as part of a tour to Ecuador and the Galapagos, and I couldn't have been happier with it. The staff is wonderful--friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. The rooms are spotless and well-appointed, and the small eating area downstairs is nicely decorated. Breakfast is included and tasty. As a bonus, they keep a large dispenser of filtered water by the side door, so you don't need to spend money on polluting plastic water bottles. Only drawback is no elevator, so be prepared to climb some stairs.

I stayed here several nights before and after my tour to the Amazon and Galapagos as I did day tours from Quito and awaited the flight home. I felt secure in their locked gate area as a single person. Breakfast was served daily. It was good, but repetitive after a couple of days. More variety would be appreciated. The ladies who worked in the breakfast area were very welcoming and served the food well. All the staff I encountered were kind and helpful. I used luggage portage and had to check in multiple times as I traveled in Ecuador. Due to Covid, the restaurant was not open in the evening. However, food is available to be delivered and is within walking distance. On a positive note, the internet is fabulous and free! The rooms are clean, well-appointed, and have extra blankets for the chilly Quito evenings. The hot water does take a while to come up from the basement. Let it run before stepping in. The spray is strong; the fixture is mounted high for a short person. That hair might get wet! LOL. Recommended for short stays for sure! The staff and privacy nudge the rating up to 4 stars. I enjoyed my stay.

Breakfast here is good, the staff are friendly and the rooms very sweet. We travelled as a 2 and a 1, and stayed in room 26/27 for the first three nights and it was nice to be on the top floor, as we didn't mind the stairs, but the room was very hot and the bathroom smelled of stagnant water. When we returned to Quito we had room 1 for two people and room 4 (as a single) and this was a different layout, also very sweet. Staff are very friendly and helpful and breakfast is good, bring granola, yoghurt, fruit and eggs. Location is good, near popular Plaza Foch but far enough away to not get the noise! I would say to improve, room 26 bathroom needs a good drain clean as the shower smelt of stagnant water and also, the room was hot - the window opened onto the landing so couldn't be left open without risking a break-in.

We stayed three times during our recent visit to Ecuador and it was the perfect ‘base camp’ between our trips into the Amazon to stay at Napo Eco Lodge and our visit to Galapagos islands. You can walk to nearby resturants. The bedrooms are comfortable and are all different. The breakfast is included and always tasty. Hotel also looked after surplus luggage between trips and Staff were always friendly and helpful. Great place to stay.

The hotel is especially popular with youth groups, so lively. Nice little rooms, currently in small outhouse with steep stairs. Narrow bathroom, here there was a fan heater. Breakfast is very nice but can take a while. The location is quiet but only 15 minutes to the old town

Absolutely lovely place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable, as was the bathroom. The hotel itself is a really cool building in a really conveniently located place near Plaza Foch. The staff were lovely and helpful and the breakfast was nice and fresh. Highly recommended for your Quito stay!

Hi.
The hotel is gated for security we were on a mini bus so I am not sure but I would think the only parking will be on the street outside. Hope this helps.
Hi Steve, sorry if this is too late but I don't check tripadvisor regularly. It takes about 45 minutes from the airport to the hotel, maybe a little more in rush hour. We had transfers so I'm afraid I don't know the price. The safest way is as with the rest of the city to take an official cab with all the badges. That said, we used an unbadged taxi for another trip once and it was fine and in general we found the city safe - did quite a bit of walking at night to and from restaurants and bars. There were a few streets that looked dodgy but use commonsense and you should be fine.
There are more places to choose from in the Quito area.
