We received an extravagant welcome and were shown to our beautiful room. We arrived about 1 am, but we could already tell this hotel was perfect for us--small, beautifully furnished, and staffed with friendly, helpful people. We ate breakfast each day in the hotel and enjoyed meeting other guests in the small, beautifully decorated breakfast room, complete with garden view...

We were three couples who spent two nights at this hotel. It is a converted home in a quiet residential area, but there is construction going on next door which produces some daytime noise. We had room #2 which is on the second floor facing the street and has a good sized terrace partially shaded by a tall tree. The...

I have stayed at this hotel several times and every time it's a pleasure. Everyone is so friendly and go out of their way to help you. The rooms are also very clean and comfortable. In addition, it's in a very convenient location, close enough to walk to the artisanal maket in the Mariscal neighborhood. I would highly recommend staying...

The place is located on a quiet street, close to a few good restaurants. It is also close to the main nightlife area of Quito and markets. I would highly recommend bringing your own map of the town if you plan to walk around as the hotel only had 1 map when I was visiting. Also highly recommended not to...

We stayed here for a few nights in Quito and loved it. La Rabida is right in the heart of La Mariscal, so close to the bars, nightlife and restaurant. The communal area is perfect. There's a fireplace and library full of travel books to read. They have a decent restaurant and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There...

This hostel is situated in a quite location close to all of the shops and restaurants in new town Quito. The rooms are small but immaculate. It is in an older building so not as sound proof as new construction but it has lots of character. The bed was also very comfortable. (Note: we found all the beds in Ecuador...

Hostal/hotel was satisfactory. area is a few streets behind plaza foch in a quiet unpreety street. I didn't feel particularly comfortable wandering around there after dark and it's a bit ridiculous to take a taxi for two blocks. staff were nice (although unnecessarily recommending the most expendive restaurants in Quito to eat at!). The taxes on checkout are a bit...

Dear Guest thanks for your review. We always appreciate opportunities to improve our service and there are certainly a few in your review. Taxes in Ecuador are 10% service and 14% VAT. Taxes are well shown both on our website as well and on the online travel agencies that offer our service but we will make sure that all taxes...

We were a large boisterous group of Americans but were treated very kindly by all hte staff! The hotel is like a bed and breakfast with a very comfortable feel. We were able to store our luggage and use an extra room since our flights were so late at night. Of course Brownie the Bunny was a delight! Good food...

Stayed for a work trip for 4 nights and just can not say enough positive things of the property and the hosts. Such a welcome from the moment I booked through and arranged pick up and logistics through to the actual stay. The home is quiet, comfortable with a wood fire burning in the nights, and quite quaint in its...

I recently stayed here with my family. Very homely and welcoming. Friendly attentive staff. Good clean hotel and in a good location. Nice and quiet but close to some good restaurants. Only negatives were that the triple room was a little small and the breakfast wasn't free as specified in the offer
