Stayed here for 5 days before starting Intrepid Galapagos tour. Rooms were comfy with really good shower. Great location and felt very safe both in the hotel and the neighbourhood. Couple of minutes walk to the national museum and a cheap taxi ride to the old town. Staff were really friendly and helpful, in particular Alejandro who helped me with recommendations when a day tour with Gadventures failed to show up. There’s also a great little cucina a couple of doors down.
Stayed here when attached to Intrepid Galapagos trip. Stayed extra nights. Excellent. Lovely courtyard. Small , well run. Lovely bfast included. Staff knowledgable and friendly. Easy walk to hop on hop off bus and to restaurants. Large rooms of all configurations. Clean. Nice lively ambusnce. Cosy beds snd doonas. Recommended. Good value.
No bells and whistles but the rooms are clean, breakfast good, location brilliant, and the staff absolutely fantastic. Several really good places to eat and drink nearby, and easy access to surrounding neighbourhoods. Felt very safe here and would definitely stay again.
Staff open the gates for you to enter this property so you immediately feel safe and secure, not that I felt unsafe in Quito anyway. Noise does travel a lot in this hotel but I found the residents to be quite considerate. Having a room in the garden or upper floor room 8 away from the others helped with the noise. Friends stayed in room 2 and they found it to be super noisy. I’m sure your opinion on this hotel would definitely be determined by which room you are given. Breakfast is a simple affair but nice enough and served by lovely staff. Wifi works well. Single beds which are not comfortable for me but good enough for a couple of nights, showers powerful. The hotel location is very good. All in all a nice hotel for a night or two.
It was a great experience that I would repeat and I totally recommend a cozy place in a nutshell Great staff Good Service Perfect location near restaurants and entertainment venues I take very pleasant memories
