we stayed here for 2 nights on our way to a tour of the Galapagos Islands. The hotel is an old mansion that was converted to a hotel with large sumptuous rooms, ornate common areas, a very pleasant garden in back and a small dining room. It is on the fringe of downtown so it is convenient but quieter than... More

We stayed a total of four nights in the Mansion, bracketing our trip to the Galapagos arranged by CNH Tours. This is a beautiful hotel, with old world charm. The staff was gracious and helpful in every way. In addition to the beautiful roses, rose petals and chocolate scented toiletries that others have mentioned, other thoughtful gestures included two complimentary... More

We enjoyed our time of being pampered at the Boutique Hotel Mansion del Angel. It's convenient, well-appointed, and the staff is very solicitous. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Quito. The room was large and lovely, with lots of attention to detail. High ceilings, birds chirping at breakfast, silver service at breakfast and tea, lovely views and back yard... More

If you like old school luxury with lots of Victoriana this is the hotel. Beautifully restored with attention to detail. Nice spa services, good breakfast room with singing birds, afternoon tea. Beautiful garden. Our room was the smallest so ask for a garden room. I heard from other guests there is street noise in front. It is also a bit... More

Rooms were great, roomy each one different. Our suite had a sitting area that was separate from the sleeping area. We also had a private patio and outdoor area. The beds were firm ( we stayed in 2 different rooms ), but comfortable. The breakfast was the same every for 4 days, a little variety would have been nice. The... More

The hotel is about a 30 minute walk from the old town. The hotel is an older mansion that has been converted. No elevator if you are on the second floor, but the staff will take care of your luggage. A fun place to stay. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The staff was very helpful. Good value.

Did not expect such a wonderful oasis in the middle of Quito. Our room (203) is very elegant with a great bathroom. Roses were waiting for us when we checked-in. Restaurant is open for guests only and the food, quality and presentation, is excellent.
