We stayed as part of a tracking trip, back in February. It was a great base, nice and central in the city with lots going on around it.
The have a nice gym, pool and spa facilities on site which are well worth a visit.
The restaurant and bar on the top floor has beautiful views over the city and mountains around, this is by far one of the best features of this hotel.
The staff are very friendly most of them have decent English if you have any questions.

An ok city hotel. Not very convenient for the airport or the old city. nowhere really to walk to from here. The restaurant on the top floor is prompt and has fine food and good service. The room is ok as is the wifi. Pleased that they have pump bottles in the bathroom. I was cold and they promptly brought a radiator heater to my room.

This hotel is located within walking distance of downtown. Try to get a room in the back of hotel overlooking the huge heated pool and beautiful landscape. If your hungry they have a nice restaurant however a little expensive.Just across the street is a very nice pizza shop. We took a walk down the main street at night and felt very safe
Can't go wrong if you stay here.

The hotel is in a very good condition with the exception of the lobby. The rooms are worn and the bathrooms extremely basic. The rooms have exterior doors onto a terrace that do not meet any safety criteria. Rooms and hotel corridors are equipped with worn carpets. Unfortunately, the hotel service is only inspired by the idea of taking money. Instead of an ordered taxi to the airport in the morning, a private driver stood in front of the hotel demanding a fare several times as high. The hotel has a bar on the top floor with a nice view, but you don't get the drinks you ordered or an accurate bill. We had to claim the invoice three times until it showed the prices shown on the card and not too high.

We visited Ecuador for the first time in January and February. We were in Quito to visit family from February 3-7, 2023. Unfortunately we booked directly from their misleading website. They offered a room for two for $85 dollars with breakfast included. When the room was booked the website changed the offer to lodging only (breakfast not included). We found out about this technicality when I went down for breakfast. The lady serving that morning made me aware of it. She notified someone from the main desk about the situation. He took my information so I could be charged $17 per person. I must admit, whereas they were quite polite and the service was good, I felt deceived by the way they treated me. The gentleman at the desk said he would look into it but never return to me. So I decided to write a review.

Quito´s weather, at night, could be below 10 Celsius. Hotel Quito does not have hot water. I presented my complains. However, for three nights, nobody could help. Even switching rooms…. no hot water in the hotel. Service is neither gentle, nor efficient.
You have to pay in cash when ordering room service, event tough your credit card is at front desk.
I did not have a good experience in general

We had a relaxed stay at this well run hotel. The dinner options were quite limited. Excellent ice cream and very good breakfast. Staff were highly capable and good natured. Convenient place from which to set forth and see this lovely city.

The glory of Hotel Quito is in the past. Nowadays it's a regular 4* hotel which rooms got old furniture, spoiled carpets and primitively equipped bathrooms. The only feature that still helps it to maintain the former popularity is its great location. What an incredible, breathtaking view!!!
Particularly from restaurant on the upper floor with wide panoramic windows. Yes, the second hit of Hotel Quito is its restaurant. Fantastic view combines with delicious food – what could be better? Breakfasts are excellent (buffet service). Fresh fruits and juices, baked delis, cereals, dairy products, hot dishes of eggs and bacon, potato and meat, vegetables and poultry… and the flavor of Andean coffee which makes you crazy.
Plus very friendly personnel and thousands of fresh roses. Smiles and marvelous flowers are around you. And you still hesitate to stay in Hotel Quito?

The Hotel Quito may not be the most modern of the large hotels in Quito but it has the best view. It is located on top of a hill overlooking the city on nice grounds with a heated pool. The American Ambassador's house is around the corner. Distances are short in Quito, so you can easily be downtown in 5 to 10 minutes.

The hotel is renovating the rooms so ask for a renovated room. Note also that few rooms have queen beds. Most are either King or doubles. If you like large breakfasts, get breakfast included with your room. They have a wonderful breakfast buffet.

Be aware that most of the large hotels are not far from the airport so flights may disturb you. They usually end by 11:00 pm and start up at about 7:00 am.
The staff was very nice.

Dear guest, Hotel grounds are big and in our gardens there is a walking/jogging circuit, also the neighbourhood is calm and nice to walk, there are nice bars, restaurants and even clubs. Outside the hotel there is a taxi central with taxis 24 hours a day. Also you will find taxis safe and easy to get in Quito.

Dear guest, Our electric outlets are the ones that you describe and work with 110 volts. So there is no need for an adapter. Anyway in Ecuador there are some houses and business that have only the outlets without the ground prong so it may be a good idea to have an adapter with you if you plan to travel Ecuador.
