I really enjoyed staying there. They have a lot of excellent tours around Quito and interactive events. Great location! The bed is comfortable, restrooms are big and also comfortable. Nothing to worry about when it comes to the facilities. When I go back to Quito, I will stay there again. A special thanks to Eduardo, Emily, Isaac and Alex! They... More

Really nice location, comfy beds, delicious food and friendly atmosphere. When we arrived I felt part of the family here Also they are great at organising trips to the Amazon. We paid way less through community than through other agencies we found in Quito.

This was a great hostel, well-located near El Centro in Quito. The dorms were clean and quiet. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the breakfasts were tasty (although I preferred going to the market across the street). The two things I would have liked were the option of gender-specific dorm rooms and a rooftop bar.

Really friendly staff, they all speak amazing English. Helped us out massively when we couldn't decide on what to do. They organise it all for you so no need to stress. Would recommend to anyone visiting Quito and wanting to go on a trip away such as to the Amazon (definitely go).

The beds are big and new, the dorms a spacious and bright thanks to much daylight and the bathrooms where the biggest and most luxurious ones that I have seen in hostals so far! On top of that, the Community Hostal really focuses on the community aspect by offering delicious breakfast for 3$ and great... More

I arrived in the late afternoon without a reservation and was able to get a open bed for $10. My top bunk bed and a drawer underneath with a room for a lock. The room was well-ventilated. The kitchen is excellent, everything one would need with the exception of an oven. The sink had a couple dirty dishes in it... More

I stayed here three nights. The hostel has a really lively atmosphere. It was a good place to meet other travellers. The staff were very friendly and well-organised. Well-located next to the market and the old town.

The hostel has one large table in the comunial area which helps to make this a super social hostel, great for solo travellers. They also make comunial breakfast and dinner to a super high standard. The staff are really friendly and there are lots of facilities. Check out the amazing bathrooms!!
