Very cute hotel in the center of old town. Charming lobby for relaxing with coffee or wine. The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, until they install a/c I recommend not staying here on the weekends. The street noise is deafening and goes on until 4 am. If you close the windows to block the sound, the rooms are...

We absolutely loved staying at this hotel on our first nights in Quito en route to the Galapagos. Maria, the hotel manager, arranged for a driver to meet our flight and speed us into town to the hotel. Even though it was late at night, the manager on duty (English speaking) got us thoroughly oriented. This is a beautifully restored...

I chose this hotel for a 1 night stay between our Galapagos cruise and departing for Machu Picchu. We had about a half-day to explore Quito, and I wanted to stay somewhere right in the heart of the old city. This place was amazing. We took a taxi from the airport, and they were able to get us within a...

You have to go looking for someone to beg a drink, with each dink you receive a bill which means a party of four gets a pile of them. The showers don't work, we had two room, neither shower worked properly. The food is not too bad but avoid the fish, how they call that dried up piece of shoe...

Dear Guest, I hope this email finds you well. Thank you for your comment which I had read it closely. Please accept my sincerely apologize. I understand the dissapointment about the sea bass you had at the restaurant, eventhough the front desk did not charge you for the dish and offer you to replace it, I perfectly understand it was...

We loved our two nights here! Nos encantamos este hotel. Que suerte encontrar a La Casona! We enjoyed happy hour followed by dinner in the restaurant. The ambiance and the care of the experienced staff made our stay delightful. We booked the post-Galápagos stay here, too. Inolvidable.

We stayed here for one night and then after a night away came back for two more nights so experienced two different rooms. All the rooms appear to be different and I much preferred the one with a window to the outside rather than the internal courtyard. Breakfast was really good and the hotel has a great policy of offering...

This hotel is perfectly located for exploring the old town. The rooms are charming, clean and comfortable, and the hotel is very well run. The staff will go out of their way to help with anything you may need, and the manager, Maria, really cares that your stay is a good one. The restaurant is good too...

La Casona de la Ronda Hotel is a marvellous experience with very attentive and helpful staff, especially Maria. While the hotel was built as a house in the 1730s it is now a very modern and comfortable hotel. Location is excellent, in the old part of Quito. The cobbled street is quaint and the nearby artisan shop very convenient.

Comfy rooms and wonderful, helpful staff. Stayed here two nights after a Galapagos trip. Nicely located in Old Town Quito. Easy walking distance to many cathedrals, museums and shops. Only downside... its located on a pedestrian street so you have to catch taxis (and take luggage) around the corner, also stairs inside to haul luggage BUT, no worries as the...
