I can happy to say that the staff who I communicated with, was very understanding and willing to accommodate for the tough situation of the sudden decision on the lockdown of Quito in April. They reached out to inform us on the government's announcement and made sure we are ok, prior to arrival. Ultimately it was not feasible to be stuck in the hotel room for 24 hours a day over the weekend, so they kindly offered to cancel or change dates. That really goes to show what kind of hotel they are operating, a professional and trustworthy one! I will definitely choose Adamas House Hotel when we return to Quito. I am certain they will make sure we have a great stay.

If I could give this place a hundred platinum stars I would!! If you are looking for a clean, beautiful, and centrally located boutique hotel (maybe 5 rooms total), with fabulous staff, THIS IS IT! Newly renovated 16th century outer walls, pristine inside, lovely upper deck with fantastic view, you cannot get much better than Adamas hotel. Jimmy is the best concierge hands down and goes out of his way to treat you to a comfortable stay. It is not a $30 hotel however it is worth the price. Breakfast is included which is better than any hotel in the area that I researched. And they airport transport is phenomenal. The easiest travel we have ever had in any country and we travel a lot. I cannot say enough about this stay!! Fabuloso!!! Muchos gracias!!!

My family of four (including two children 9 and 11) stayed at the Adamas House Hotel over the Christmas holiday. Our stay occurred while COVID restriction were in place by the Ecuadorian government, but we felt safe at all times. All protocols were respected, staff wore masks and took our temperatures every morning before breakfast. Speaking of breakfast.... it was amazing! Every morning we has fresh squeezed juice, fruit and pastries. Jaime (aka Jimmy) was wonderful. Based on his service, he could have been mistaken as an owner or at least a family member of the owners. He gave us tips on where to go and what to see, what streets to take, which ones to avoid. Our stay was unexpectedly extended because of travel restrictions, but Jimmy didn't miss a beat. The hotel itself is very quaint and chic. The roof top terrace has amazing views. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The locations is great for visiting the historic area, the Presidential Palace or the Basilica. There are a vast number of eateries and shops nearby, but for local trinkets and souvenirs, we found the best deals at Mercado Artesiano (also in Quito) - they were even cheaper than Otavalo.

We couldn´t have found a better place to discover the heart of the city. Really welcoming staff, perfect location and great infrastructure (with an amazing view) which made us feel home. Next time we come to Quito, we will definitely stay here again! Highly recommended!
