Katherine and Tarquin, the owners/creators of The Secret Garden Quito, have moved to the countryside where they have been building their dream home and hostel. It's spectacular mountain scenery, it's a beautiful traditional lodge made of mud bricks and thatched roof, it's an eco-friendly self sufficiency project, it's great homegrown herbs and spices, with an exquisite home style food, it's considered an adventure center and it's a relaxation center.

Great place; wonderful staff and brilliant activities. I took the three day trip from the Secret Garden in Quito. Really good value for money. Do jump in the water at the waterfall - it’s really worth it!

Stayed in the hobbit home. They provided a small electric heater/fan. It did a great job heating the small area. There were plenty or extra warm fleece blankets as well. Very comfortable.
