This is the third time I have stayed at the Savoy Inn Hotel. The last time it was for 30 days. It is not your 5 star hotel, but it is comfortable and clean. Good continental breakfast, and nice dinner menus. It is about a 10 minute taxi ride to Carolinas Park but at least you will have extra money...

The stay in this hotel helped me on my business trip being close to the visits I had to make. The hotel staff is definitely very welcoming. The hotel though has several points it needs to work on: renewal of furniture, doors, windows, beds .... solve the smell issue on the bedroom floors and i have to say that it...

We stayed for our first night in Quito at the beginning of our study abroad program. Nice rooms with cool architecture and a great balcony (only complaint was that the shower wasn't designed to drain well/efficiently). Breakfast was fine but nothing at all special. The hotel elevator works on and off. We didn't have much contact with the hotel staff...

A very efficiently, but most welcoming and friendly place to be in. The owner is a painter and her pictures are to be seen all over the hotel. Her aim is to make visitors comfortable and happy. The chef is also an 'artist'. Sopas are an Ecuadorian speciality - his are special among them; see his recently published book of...

We stayed only for one night having to catch a early morning flight inland. There was nothing to be wished for. The rooms are somewhat dated, but who cares for such a short stay. There was a wedding party on the roof, but we didn't hear much of it; same for the airport which is a stone throw away.

We needed a hotel for a quick overnight while connecting to Cuenca  through Quito.  We chose the Savoy Inn, for its close proximity to the airport.  We knew not too expect too much and where not disappointed.  The hotel is older and the decor is a bit odd.  The good news was that the guest room and bathroom seemed quite...

I stayed at the Savoy on my first night back from the Galapagos, it was very welcoming, clean and very hot showers, with great power. I went back the next night as I was robbed in Quito old town of everything barring my rucksack. The toursit police took me back there and explained to the owner what had happened, She...

The Savoy is close to the airport in Quito (except I was told they are building a new airport further out from the city, so in the future the Savoy will not have this reason for staying there). It has the atmosphere one would expect from a 3-star hotel, plus a very good restaurant that is reasonably priced. Rooms have...

We used this hotel for a 12 hour stay in Quito before catching a very early flight home. As advertised, it's pretty close to the airport ... which is good for convenience but bad for airplane noise. Check in was okay. The room was below average with old tile flooring, threadbare furniture and only 2 hangers, but they did have...
