Although not centrally located it's in a great position, only 10 mins walk to the shops, restaurants and bars. Staff very helpful and friendly especially Miguel! Nice hot breakfast included in the price and no horrible hidden taxes to pay either!

We stayed at Hotel Andino for two nights, we chose two triple bedrooms which were spacious, comfortable, neat, nicely decorated, conveniently close to Plaza Foch and a nice breakfast included. The front desk helped us in all our special requirements, the manager Miguel was very kind, knowledgeable and helpful, always there to recommend the best places to visit, give directions... More

We went to Ecuador on a school trip, and Hotel Andino was absolutely our favorite hostel! The breakfast was THE best we had in the country, with amazing yogurt, delicious coffee, soft bread, and eggs. It was very inexpensive for a large group of 16 of us. It was a beautiful hostel, and the staff was so nice and accommodating!... More

We needed an inexpensive layover hotel for three different overnight stays in Quito during our trip. Stayed at the Andino all three times. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly (Miguel gave me his personal number and later, on his own time, helped me figure out a cheaper way to and from the airport), and breakfast was included. Great... More

This was a great place to stay - quiet, exquisitely clean, nice rooms, and budget friendly. The front desk was so helpful! Super secure as well - felt very safe here. The neighborhood was nice and it was close to Plaza Foch. The cab drivers had a little bit of trouble finding it though - make sure to have the... More

I stayed at Hotel Andino for 3 nights. The location is great, the management was great, the rooms were great. I was able to get coffee before the regular times in the morning! The manger spoke English (my native language). He was helpful in recommendations of places to eat, places to see.

Came here at the start and end of my World Challenge expedition, fairly comfortable beds and did very well to accommodate 17 of us, separating boys from girls, and 3 adults - the shower was good, stayed in the room for lots of people! Decent breakfast also, came here at the start of the expedition on the night coming from... More

This location was recommended by International Living folks. I contacted Miguel to arrange transportation as we were arriving at 10:00pm. The driver was there on time very polite and helpful. Once at Hotel Andino, we were treated very well. Miguel went out of his way to assist us in making the most out of our stay in Quito. He even... More

Pro: Manager speaks good English (only the mgr). He is generally around and willing to help with questions and guidance. Breakfast is included in the room cost and very basic (certainly nothing special). Don't expect this breakfast to hold you till noon. Hotels location is pretty good. About 4 blocks from the activity in Mariscal District. There is a Super-maxi... More
