We stayed for 2 days near the Termas Papallacta in Hotel Pampallacta. Even though we didn't had a reservation we got a nice room with our own jacuzzi. The owner and staff are friendly and made our stay really personal. If you are here, you feel home.

Gorgeous rooms and even better views! Each room has its own fireplace and large tub so you can enjoy the thermal waters in your own room, which was wonderful. Large windows so you have beautiful vistas of the surrounding mountains. The restaurant served good food (order the chicken pampallacta) and hot drinks, which were perfect after being outside in the... More

During a mid-week stay, I had the place somewhat to myself. The bedrooms vary somewhat (I had two different ones). Ask to see one or two before you commit. Rooms were rustic - stone floors, walls -- rustic, but clean. Nights can be cold - they prep a fire for you every night in your room. Water is hot. Pools... More

Hmmm. Okay, first negative review. There aren't many places to stay in Papallacta that are cheaper than the resort (Termas). If there are just 2 of you, you could probably fly under the radar of this place's weirdness and still achieve the goal of enjoying hot springs in an affordable location. That said...6 friends and I arrived after a long... More

I stayed here with my husband and 3 more couples. We reserved a cabana with a private hot spring, we love it because we stayed there until late night....very relaxing! The next morning we took to the short trial (less than 1 hour) I love it!!! you get in touch with nature and enjoy beautiful landscaping. The brunch is really... More

We had a nice family stay at Pampallacta. The room was really nice and comfortable. They have hot pools outside and hot and cold ones in another covered area. They filled our bath in the room at 9 PM, but we had to wait around 1:30 hour until the water was cool down enough to enter it. The fire they... More

we stayed at the Termales for one afternoon. We payed only 8$ for the Termales including an delicious meal afterwoods and drink. It is surely not the newest and biggest Termales but for this price we had a really relaxing day. The pools are nice and warm, there were only a fiew people so that we nearly had everything for... A truly disappointing experience. We chose Pampallacta bc it's a bit cheaper than Termas Papallacta (around 100 USD double room). Here we paid 87 USD (45 in advance) for a double room expecting something simple but at least clean. - The room was nothing like the pictures on their webpage. - Filthy bathroom (stains on the toilet seat.....), horrifying stains... I stayed in Pampallacta Termales after an arduous 2.5 week hiking trip in Peru and Ecuador. My travel partner and I purposefully planned a spa trip to Papallacta after the hike to relax, and it was exactly what we needed. The hotel room (we got a two-bed room) was extremely spacious, with a huge hot shower and flushing toilet, as... More
