So happy to have met Rodrigo and family! They took very good care of me answering all my questions and giving me directions to some interesting markets. My room was very clean, comfortable and quiet with a hot shower. Can't say enough about the the the nice people who run the place.
Oh, and as far as the location goes it is right in the central area a short walk away from a wide variety of venues.

We stayed 4 nights in the Natural Life Hostal in Quito.
The breakfast is included and delicious, made by the daughter of the owners.
The family that runs the Hostal and the travel agency galapagos natural life is very friendly and helpful, giving good advise and taking care of their guests.
The rooms are very quiet and clean.
The Hostal is located in a safe area very close to Mariscal in the new town.

The B&B is located few metres from the Quito night life district. We stayed two nights in a private double room, with private bathroom. The room was perfectly clean, the breakfast very good, the people nice and helpful.
One of the best stays in Quito, for sure.

We loved our stay here. It's a family run hostal and the owner were brilliant. We arrived after checking out of Vibes Hostal early due to the poor state of the place (it was a construction site and dust was everywhere!)

The family welcomed us in and showed us to a 4 bed mixed dorm. The dorms had single beds - no bunk beds which was refreshing! The rooms were a good size with sturdy beds and good bedding.

There were no lockers in the room and so you had to keep all your valuables locked in your backpacks. This was fine for us.

The hostal offered breakfast which was juice, tea/coffee, bread, scrambled eggs and fresh fruit. It was really good value and a nice portion.

Location of this accommodation was perfect. Very central to all the major travel agencies and to the main square of restaurants and bars.

On leaving the mother of the owner gave us bracelets as a leaving present. She was so lovely!!

We had such a great stay that we went back after our trip to the Galapagos. I thoroughly recommend this hostal and would stay here again. For sure!!!

Had a lovely stay at Hostel Galapagos Natural Life. The staff were absolutely lovely, very friendly and welcoming - especially Luz who gave us a bracelet as a gift when we left!! Lovely breakfast too with a fruit salad, bread, scrambled eggs, coffee etc. Another bonus being no bunk beds in the rooms! Much as gracias por todo!

My wife and I stayed at this hostel during our first week in Quito while we were looking for a place to live. The hostel is in La Mariscal district which is the main party/tourist area in Quito. There is plenty of different types of transportation available in the area (taxis, blue bus, Echovia, etc) so you shouldn't have any trouble getting from the hostel to any places around the city.

We got a private room (supplied with two beds), a private shower, and private bathroom for ~$32. We've stayed at nicer places that were cheaper in other parts of the world but we couldn't find anything cheaper and private for two people in Quito on short notice. If you want a private room, you have to pay for each person in the room.

The shower was heated electrically by an attachment on the nozzle and the temperature changed according to the water pressure (less pressure = hotter water). The rooms are cold at night but I haven't found that to be much different from any other place in Quito so far. WiFi is provided and it is fast except around the evening time. A breakfast was provided and that was definitely the best part of our stay. Fresh fruit juice was like heavenly bliss every morning.

The staff is friendly and willing to speak with you even if your Spanish is terrible. They treated us nicely and like family. Depending upon the type of person you are, the staff will treat you differently--if you are a partier, I would suggest picking another hostel. If you're more laid back and friendly, this place is a good option for you.

They kicked me out at 7 am for coming back too late while they were sleeping.....weird right? I was so nice and had to explain while they didnt speak english. So rude and not helpful about anything. I only booked it because the other hostels were full. I now see why no one else was there.
