This hostel is located in a nice old house with a great view from the terrace. The breakfasts were nice and included a fruit basket, which adds a lot to the regular bread and butter. The living room is comfy, the kitchen is basic but pretty well equipped, and the second floor is reached by a cute little spiral staircase....

The hostel is located in a precious part of the town. It's a beautiful old house with a nice vibe and decoration. The kitchen is well-equipped, the hostel is very clean and the terrace has an amazing view of the city. I had a great time in Acuarela.

The location was fine, the breakfast was adequate and the bed was super comfortable. Unfortunately the mattress was on an unfinished pallet that was too large which means foot injury. The "art" on the wall was made out of mechanical tape that was peeling off of it in strips. At one point ALL 3 restrooms were out of service! The...

I was obsessed with this hostel. It was so beautiful!!! The rooms were spacious, had a great view, and the hostel has a cozy and home-y vibe. I would move back. Definitely not a party vibe but just an all-around lovely spot with a nice kitchen and sitting area as well.

This was my first stay in a hostel, and Hostal Acuarela set the standard pretty high. The things that stood out to me were the following: a laid-back, chill atmosphere, common areas with couches, a computer, and a fireplace, hot water, friendly staff, and a great, substantial breakfast. Although it is a bit remote, the view of the harbor on...

Stayed here for three nights - location was great. Near everything you need. There even was a fruit n veg right outside the front door on the Friday & Sunday we were there. I thought the previous reviews about the water temperature must of been fixed because I didn't have any issues & neither did my partner.. Not until the...

The hostal was in an excellent location on one of the more touristic hills. It is very close to many restaurants and is very quiet. A breakfast comprised of breads, cereal, fruit and coffee was provided. However, the bed was very uncomfortable and loud.

There was no hot water.... just like many other reviews stated. Everything else was awesome: the breakfast was awesome with lots of fruit options, it is located close to the action of the city and good restaurants, it was very clean, and the staff was helpful.

Pro: Nice and cosy hostel. Located on Cerro Alegre which is for me one of the nicest hills. Close to Bars and Clubs. So located very well if you don't mind walking up the hill for 5 - 10 minutes. Fair price. 24h reception. Nice view over city from own rooftop terrace. Con: Water temperature in shower changed sometimes (warm...
