Travelers' Choice 2019 Winner
Luciano K is a boutique hotel with 38 bedrooms, a blend of period and art deco design. On the hotel's ground floor you will find the entrance hall, bar and restaurant. A roof top terrace of 300 square meters acommodates: the spa, sauna, bar, heated swimming pool; and, spectacular views over Parque Forestal and Alameda Avenue. The building is a cultural jewel in the heart of the gastronomic Lastarria neighbourhood of Santiago, originally designed by the arquitect Luciano Kulczewski in the 1920s. At the time, it was the tallest building in Chile, the first with a lift and central heating. The glamour and elegance of the 1920s is showcased in the architecture and design, accompanied by the highest levels of comfort and technology you will find at the best international hotels.

We stayed at the Hotel Luciano K for one night after having arrived in Santiago just before midnight al the way from South Africa. After lenghty lines at Immigration and waiting for our rental car, we made way to the hotel from the airport just before 3am. As we rang the

Nestled between "Bella Vista" and "LaStarria" a great and convenient location, we stayed 6 nights in total, using Santiago as our base as we travelled up to the North Region and also to Easter Island. It's great to have a safe place to leave luggage ! We were greeted by Carlos

We booked this Hotel , because you can reach many interesting places in walking distance. The Hotel is in Art Deco style and has a nice terrase in 5th floor with a upperdeck in 7th with a spectacular view. Also the service is perfect. We got a room very small snd complained

Lovely quirky hotel and good value too. Had an inside room but clever light shaft gave impression of daylight and kept it very quiet. Good quality fittings, bed very comfortable. Loved the roof top bar and friendly staff. 2 minor issues, no thermostat on shower so be careful

There is no shuttle from the airport to this hotel. We did have the hotel book a cab for us for a set price which was a good idea since we were arriving during a high traffic time. If you are coming off peak hours you could probably just catch a cab. There was a safe in our room. We went to Valparaiso by regular bus that leaves on a schedule. We used Tur Bus and bought our tickets ahead of time. the trip only took about 75 minutes. Bus fare is cheap but it also varies by time of day. We loved Valparaiso and I highly recommend that you spend time there and take a walking tour. It is amazing. I am envious that you get to enjoy the homemade yogurt that Luciano K Hotel serves with their breakfasts! It was divine. Make sure to check out their rooftop bar for a coffee or drinks too. Very helpful staff and a great location near the metro and shopping/restaurants/park. Be sure to have a traditional Chilean sandwich at Fuente Alemana which is located on the street right behind the hotel. They are incredible.

There are buses from Valparaiso to Santiago. Yes Luciano K can arrange airport transfers for about $45 or Uber is good value though they drop you off in the car park to avoid hostile taxi drivers. If you want a private tour City Trekking Tours are great (I found them on Trip Advisor) or there are free talks if you want to go in a group.
