Stayed one night, en route to Atacama. Good hotel, well presented and quiet room, great restaurants in close walking distance, goid enough breakfast. Staff arranged taxis to and from the airport, which we appreciated as the taxi touts can be intimidating.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Hotel Altiplanico so much that we booked the final night of our stay in Santiago (which we had intended to use to stay in a different neighborhood) here as well. It's location can't be beat, across from a beautiful park and close to lots of

The breakfast is of really high quality products. Coffees, espresso and fruit 24 hours a day for free available. The room is specious enough and of great design. So is the hotel. Friendly staff. A great pleasure to have been here. Entirely something else than the average hotel.

Good Day Clairton, just opposite the duty free, just before you collect your luggage there is a money changer and a transport company that sell taxi coupons. You can book your ride to the hotel from them which cost about 22,000 pesos. problem with this is when you come out of the airport, every man and his dog is trying to snatch the coupon off you, so you have to be very careful who you give the coupon to. Alternatively you can ask the hotel to arrange the transfer for you which cost 20,000 pesos. They will have someone with your name standing outside to meet you like any other airport. Have a fun, enjoyable and safe travel.

I was cruising to East Island with Cunard and not landing there as they have limited visitor allowed to the island. For cruise ship it needs at least 12 months to apply embarking the island and once again it has limit as well.
