We spent two nights pre-Antarctica Cruise. A very pleasant location and helpful attentive staff. Our room was comfortable and clean and room service was suitably prompt. We would recommend as a good location.
We stayed for a couple of nights after a cruise. Great location. There are 2 towers. I think we were in the old one. The rooms were large and the bed comfortable. For our purposes, it was a great place to say. Hopefully will be back
We arrived on 29/1/20 in Santiago to find it all boarded up and covered in graffeti. No warning from the hotel, nothing despite emailing them separately from the booking. However security sent us to the Intercontinental Hotel which claimed the same in money we had paid for the Crowne Plaza in advance and where I had money stolen from a locked room. In addition I would not recommend the Intercontinental. Room 627 was old, hot water was a problem, air conditioner was noisy and the key card to the room was continually not working for the room or the lifts.
We arrived at this hotel, by taxi, from the airport after travelling from Dublin Ireland for over 24 hours on 4th Jan 2020, to find to our horror, that it was empty, wrecked, covered in graffiti and abandoned. Our taxi driver had to take us to an alternative hotel. The amazing thing is that today 25th Jan 2020 it is still being advertised on the Crowne Plaza website as available for bookings.
The rooms were a little old, but all the amenities were there. We had two short very comfortable stays. The hotel is in walking distance to a lot of bars and restaurants. The included breakfast was excellent. On our second visit we had access to the Club Lounge. It was well worth the extra charge to have breakfast and evening drinks and food in the Club Lounge.
