Don’t expect luxury here, but you will get good value. I had a comfortable private room out the back. It was basic, but clean and perfectly adequate. The staff are friendly and obliging and it’s a comfortable walk to the centre of the city. The wifi is good and the breakfast adequate. It’s not a place for those with mobility issues as there are stairs everywhere. Also, it can be a bit noisy as every word and footfall can be heard from the courtyard. However, I enjoyed my stay and will stay there again.

Can't complain about anything, My stay at Hostal Bella was very pleasant, the staff was very helpful as well. The location is very good, close to Pionono, Cerro San Cristobál, Cerro Santa lucia, Santago centro and I could get around everywhere by metro which had two close stations Patronato and Bellas Artes. Also all their rooms were private with their own toilet.

Location was ok but not in the most great location, the staff only speak basic english so we did struggle to communicate with each other. The reception lady brought me to the room i have booked and it was quite surprised that as we opened the door to the room we notice the room was in a very messy state. So she advised I could have the top floor. However I was not too happy when they advised me that I will have to change to a different room for the next day. This was not convinient for me as I would have already unpacked and there is no way I would packed my things just to move to the lower floor. In the end they agreed i could just stayed in the fifth floor. Unfortunately, wifi was extremely bad in the fifth floor. It was so difficult to connect to the wifi in the 5th floor I had to come down to the first or sit in the lobby just to use the internet. Breakfast wasvery basic. I also notice reception lady have charged me more money for the transfer to the airport as she have given the taxi driver for less money from what I have given her so I was not too happy about that matter. I could have used UBER and got it for less price.

The hostel provides nice and clean rooms. It is located in the beautiful neighborhood bella vista. Close to the mountain san cristobal where you have a beautiful view of the whole city and experience the peace of watching the sunset. On the rooftop terrace you can see the sky turn red by nightfall with a good glass of chilean wine. The friendly crew helps you with a smile and prepares a good breakfast to start your day with some fruits, bread, cereals, yoghurt,... . Highly recommended for a good stay in santiago!

Budget accomodation, but confortable, clean, excellent location (specially if you are interested in nightlife), super friendly staff. If you want to save money, but still want some mod cons, you can't go wrong!
